I looked at the reviews before going and thought to myself “it can’t be that bad”. Let me tell you, it is that bad. I got a gel manicure, that was done in (I’m not kidding) 10 min. I had to ask the nail tech multiple times to clean up the residue left on my fingers from the gel polish (see picture). I’ve been getting gel polish for years and no one has ever left hardened gel polish on my fingers like that. I had to go back 2 days later because on almost every nail the gel polish was chipping off. When I went back in and showed what seemed like the owner the chipped nails they didn’t say “sorry” or “we will fix it” they just told me to sit down. I’m writing this in hopes of saving someone from paying a crazy high amount ($20 up charge for gel) for the worst nails I’ve had done. Drive 5 min further and go somewhere else.
Came here for the first time to get a pedicure I normally go to Modern Nails on 63rd but I was trying something new SMH!????????♀️ The Lee lady didn’t do a good job at all she rushed my pedicure she got nail polish on my toes. She didn’t get the inside of my nails I had to mention it multiple times as she said Yeah Yeah it’s nothing. The water burnt me when she advised me to put my feet in. The dead skin was still there after the completion of my 15-17min pedicure. The colors I wanted she refused me saying she would have to put white under or make it a gel polish which I was ok with but she said,” NO What color now” then started to be discriminatory against me. I ended up getting blue polish which ended up being on my toes as well. I asked the youngest nail tech for a cotton ball and polish remover to correct it myself she asked to see it and there it was SMURF toes. The massage chair was told to be stopped when Lee was doing my polish I’ve never heard of that.
I am leaving very unsatisfied, toes still not truly completed I guess this is what happens when you try a #1 w regular polish. I honestly wanted to see what they were capable of but I guess it’s attitude rushed service, not a complete pedicure but making sure they get paid.
GO TO FOXY NAILS ACROSS THE STREET!!! Anna nails techs are inexperience and unprofessional. I sat there for hours and paid over $100 for terrible service. My acrylic was lumpy, they couldn't do a straight or even line designs, fingerprints in my nail polish. 5 different people tried to fix my nails and failed and they still OVER charged me. gave me gel when i asked for regular polish. I left in TEARS! FOXY NAILS FIXED IT 100% AND I WAS TOLD MANY PEOPLE LEAVE ANNA NAILS TO COME HAVE THEIR NAILS FIXED.

Omg , Micheal did my nails and she did an AMZING job . I’m in love with my nails they are just perfect . I’m definitely coming back and having her do my nails . I recommend this place 100% !

Update; got a nail color change with gel polish.
The tech left polish residue all overh fingers. I had to remind him several times to wipe off the excess polish. One week later and my polish chipped on several fingers.
I visited yesterday to have the polish reapplied, and the polish still chipped! The tech at the front desk near the entrance didn't remove the chipped polish, he just painted over it. Lazy! So I visited today and the salon was closed. I arrived before 4:30 pm. The salon closed by 5 pm.
So sorry to do this but this will be my last time going to this nail shop. The lady did not know how to cut my nails properly, filed them un even and could barely understand what i was saying. I wasted my money, time and im very upset about it.
UPDATE: i later called the location who told me to come back in and they were able to re-do my toes. POSITIVE vibes the entire time i even tip the women for her time. Thanks!
First time going there for a pedicure, and I was not happy with the service. It was rushed I got the deluxe pedicure barely any scrub used during the wash and barely massaged my feet. he automatically assumed I wanted gel polish, one person started the service and in the middle of him painting my nails he switched out with a different lady, and she rushed on the remaining of the service. Barely put oil on my heels or feet and I was charged $55!
Best nail shop in the area, polish and acrylic always stays on in between fills. Linda is the best! Ask for her! She does amazing nail designs. I'm terribly ticklish and she let me do my own callus scrub so they could get better. She taught me how to do it efficiently as well and really cared about giving me at home trips to keep my feet nice since I wear heels every single day. They all take their time and give full attention to each customer they do. May be a slight wait on busy days but it's worth it and they don't cut corners on their customers just because they get busy. I drive from downtown to Grandview each time because they're the best!
