I used to love this doctor office but now impossible to get a sick appointment not just one time but 30 plus in a year when my daughter had issues with tonsils. The last year er has been her doctor kinda sad every time it’s booked .I called today same thing she is much sicker now so guess er is her new doctor as it has been for a year plus.I hate to switch this is same doctor my oldest daughter has seen also.I have no clue why even in early morning no appointments available. The ladies in office could use a little training on nice skills as well. Thanks but no thanks er visit here we come.
DO NOT USE THIS PEDIATRICIAN OFFICE!!!! My daughter drove over and hour with a sick 6 month baby with RSV and a 2 year old sick with RSV and was a few minutes late and they refused to see her!!!!!! She was in tears as she’s hardly had any sleep dealing with sick babies and told them how hard her week has been and they still just sit there and say nothing!! She can’t help she got stuck in traffic and was a few minutes late!! Who does tht to their patients??? I tried calling to leave a message for DR. LiSA and they won’t let me. So if something happens to my grandchildren I will be getting a lawyer. Do Not Use them bc the people at the front desk are flipping heartless!!!! And i spoke with someone and left my name and number and what it was about and she said she would have someone call me back. Well OFCOURSE I got no return phone call. Because I’m sure they don’t want Dr. Lisa to find out how they treated my daughter. I have 2 daughters that have been going there for one of 3 years and another of 2 years and they will not be back. They said they obviously don’t care about our children. SO think twice before you go there!!
I use to love this place …The drs are GREAT! The staff is HORRIBLE !!! Spoke with Stacey and Martha over the phone they were both rude and showed no remorse for my sick child!!! I called at 9am to have my child seen because of a high fever and nose bleeds. They were booked completely which is understandable after a holiday .. I asked for a appt later in the week and they said they only do sick visit appts same day , I would have to call each day for availability. Which is AWFUL I can’t call my sons dr to have him seen when he is sick… definitely changing offices and hate to have my kids see another physician but the staff they have SUCKS!!!
Arrived before 11 am for "Urgent" care. The receptionist estimated a 45min wait. It took 3 hours to be seen and served. Only about 10 people in the waiting room when I arrived..both for urgent & family practice. I'd hate to see this place if it were busy. All the people were friendly and apologetic.
Was told that Dr Finney was taking new patients. Filled out a lengthy history and returned it. Found out that the first available appointment was 2.5 months out. Took the appointment. In the meanwhile, went through an different medical issue... finally called and cancelled the appointment a week before the date. They can't be very interested in getting new patients if they are pushing people out 2.5 months. I'd hate to see how long I would need to wait if I really needed a doctor. The facilities are nice, but the management is horrible. Revised to 1 star.
Don't pay attention to the bad reviews for the Urgent Care on the other side of the building, it's not the Family Medicine facility. My experience with my family doctor has been above excellent. He helped me with things other doctors were missing. Wait times typically short if arriving at appointment time. Labs, x-rays etc., are in the same building, which is convenient with little wait time.
Experience in the office was satisfactory. However, both my husband and I were referred for further testing. I waited two weeks and called back to be told the referral had been made but waited six weeks to be called for an appointment. I sought treatment elsewhere. My husband was seen last week and told he needed a heart monitor but we have heard no more. We have seen doctors in Greenville for many years and never waited more than a week for follow up.
I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. . .All of the doctors are kind and knowledgeable. The receptionists have always been professional and kind. The wait times may sometimes be a bit long, but I think that just comes with the nature of health care services in general (particularly in rural areas where the ratio of doctors to patients is out of whack). I've had appointments with both Dr. Jackson and Jocelyn Sikes, and consider the service I've received from the nurses, doctors, and receptionists to be top notch.
This is about my experience with the Family practice side. I was a patient with Dr. Finney and if it was routine stuff, he was fine (not great but okay) but when I started having an issue last fall, he wasn't much help and I got very frustrated. His nurse was sweet and I liked her (which is why I gave two stars instead of one) but I was not happy with him. I decided to cut my losses and get on with another doctor in the area. Already more pleased with the knowledge of the new one. New place is not as close as this place but my doctor stress level was lowered tremendously and I feel more valued.
