First time being turned down at an anmed facility because I had no insurance or cash in hand. I guess the little signs on the wall that say no one can be denied services don't mean a whole lot. Care connect needs to do better, plain and simple.
Website states open til 8 pm.
I drove 20 miles to get there and arrived at 7 pm. Upon entering...I was told by the two ladies at the front counter that they were taking no more patients. Why? I asked. Because we have too many waiting was the response. You need to change your web page to state that you quit taking patients at 7pm so no one else has to waste time coming there to be turned away.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Seriously, please don’t even waste your time.
My daughter has been suffering from bronchitis (diagnosed with an x-ray) for almost 3 weeks. Her two brothers had just got over atypical pneumonia when she began exhibiting the same symptoms.
After nearly 3 weeks, her cough is still violent and frequent, and she complains of side pain from coughing and congestion in her chest that she can’t get rid of. Two rounds of steroids and antibiotics have done nothing.
She has a history of asthma, so she came to this office hoping for some answers and something that could finally knock this out of her. She was especially hoping for albuterol to use in her nebulizer, which is something that her primary doctor (who is very familiar with her history) prescribes for stubborn respiratory illnesses.
The doctor she saw here was dismissive and unattended. He paid no attention to her case history, paid no mind to help her respiratory illnesses are usually treated, and dismissed her bronchitis as being “allergic!” Mind you, this is bronchitis that she has suffered with for three weeks, with symptoms that mirror her brothers: fever, fatigue, nausea, etc. He refused to give her albuterol “because it works on different pathways,” which we know to be untrue based on her history. He refused to do a follow up x-ray to see if her bronchitis has worsened. He told her not to use her emergency inhaler for her ongoing bronchitis because her heart rate was fast. Of course, that would have nothing to do with the fact that she has been violently coughing nonstop for three weeks!
For any wondering, his prescription was nasal spray, Claritin, and honey—for an asthmatic patient with a weeks-long case of confirmed bronchitis!
If your child is a college student looking for someone to provide adequate care away from home, this is not the place. I’m more than certain that this begin “doctors” medical degree isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. Steer clear.
I am here now I saw a nurse practitioner she is great she explained everything going on with me. The exray guy was very nice and the nurses was awesome I total recommended this place. On a scale od 1 to 10 I rate them a 10
The administration in the front is always very informational and kind and the doctors and nurses in the back are always helpful and Focus on solutions. Every time I’ve gone there I’ve always been 100% satisfied with the staff and procedures very fast as well and we also let me know that if my insurance option expires that they have a program as well that I’m able to pay cash which is very beneficial. Will definitely recommend for people with and without insurance, that’s having to make doctor visits fairly quickly without an appointment.
We arrived right at 8AM so we were seen pretty quickly. We finished up fairly quickly.
On our way out about 9:30, we heard someone say that the wait time was now 4 hours.
The doctor on duty was quick to make a plan of diagnostics and then the plan for treatment. I was grateful that both were done so rapidly.
I would go again. I will probably try the reservation feature that they have.
I am the one that does not like going to see the doctors. I love this place, they really listen to you.
I was a walk in and was told it was going to take so much time but it usually takes a little under the time that they tell me.
Everyone is nice and professional!
The part I love is that they make you feel like they really listening to you and want to get your needs met. I pray that everyone that works in this facility receive every blessing that God has in store for them. Thanks again I appreciate you guys oh and by the way I feel better too ????????
I do an online appointment get there and have to wait 2 hours over my age time. Ask the lady up front how long for me and she says I’m next but that didn’t happen they called another lady. They used to text you to let you know that there running behind but know they make you come up here and sit vomiting and with diarrhea
