This is a Schenectady landmark,there use to be several fried seafood places but this is the one which remains.
Robust menu with many different items,both meal specials and individual items.My most recent trip I got an individual fish fry and clam fry.Fish definitely lacked flavor and that flavor which was present was just kinda off,odd tasting.Clam fry was very good,crispy and perfectly fried.
Word of caution,this establishment was pricey before food cost increases so be prepared to shell out some money.
Excellent ! First time there. We each had the fish fry which was del. Had an order of corn fritters and fried Okra. Both were great. We'll be going there again for sure.
This place by far is thee best seafood spot in the capital region . Fish fry’s are amazing . Everything is always fresh made ! Ive had just about everything and always delicious. I hope they never leave the area

But definitely under seasoned, had to add a great deal of old bay to get it up to Ted's fish fry flavors, but all in all pretty decent
Anker's has always been a standby for anyone's seafood cravings. My family has visited this eatery for over twenty years and we've never failed to enjoy a tasty and cost effective meal. I started eating at Anker's in my twenties; I'm now over fifty and have introduced my now adult sons to the place. They love it, fish frys, bisque, gumbo... It's all done perfectly!
I haven't been here in a good ten years, but it is still amazing! The staff was friendly, helpful and kind. The food, as always, is delicious. The mozzarella sticks are the best!
We order a fish fry every once in a while. It’s absolutely delicious, usually we get a salad with it but tonight we opted for fries. Although they were good, we had to throw them out due to having high bp. I would rather put my own salt on them. Can we request that or not? Ty
Fabulous Fish and chicken sandwiches, curly fries, yummy chocolate cake, snapples sodas seltzers, yummy coconut shrimp and lovely staff. Environment feels like a summer day in a cape cod cafe! ????
