Loved it.
Saturday morning around 1030 for breakfast. No wait. Super cool vintage diner. Lots of seating including tables, booths, milkshake bar. Nice and clean. It is located inside of a hotel sort of. Plenty of parking, accessible space.
We shared the special which was biscuits and gravy topped with country fried steak, more gravy, and an egg. Delicious!!! The gravy had actual meat and flavor, not just pepper and flour. Also had some fruit and hashbrowns which were good, too.
It only took a few minutes for our food to come out. Server attentive with refills and checking in.
Total was just under $30 for a BIG breakfast. Had coffee and a pop with our meal.
Very nice experience! We will visit again soon.
In from out of state and came for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It’s not busy. The host said good morning to us in passing as she grabbed menus and walked away. We hung back unsure if she was taking us to a table. Another server said we could follow that host who walked away. She looked back at us as if we should have know. Then put our menus on a table and walked away. The entire restaurant was open and we were sat next to a table with a large family and a baby. The mom sat turned around the majority of the time. The baby was tossing things from the table our way. Plenty of places to sit and we were sat here. I don’t understand. I ordered over medium eggs and said I do not like them slimy. My husband ordered hard eggs. Mine came super runny and slimy and my husbands came the same. He had to send his back. I just didn’t eat mine. The bacon was extra crispy and my husbands toast was all but burnt. Over all we are not pleased.
We had an excellent experience, got seated fast, waitress was friendly and efficient and the good was yummy. I had blackened salmon and a side salad with French. The salmon was delish and so was the salad best French dressing I've tasted, the waitress told us that they make most of their dressings. Breakfast is served all day so my grand daughter got cinnamon French toast and said it was yummy. My husband got a cheeseburger and onion rings and it was great too. Will definitely go back.
I've been here several times now. Super tasty dinner food at very reasonable prices (around $10-$12/person). They have a dedicated ice cream bar, but I haven't tried it yet. I highly recommend this place.
Fun,great service ready to meet dietary needs,l am deathly allergic to onions ???? and they went the extra mile for me,helping me make the best choices through the knowledge that they had about the menu options.
There were so many ice
cream shake options I just asked for my servers favorite and was not disappointed
Food and service were fantastic. I had the Wednesday special, chicken fried steak and my wife has a grilled cheese with onion rings. It came out to about the price as eating at McDonald's and the food was a million times better.
Amazing food. They oddly stagger their seating, as a former restaurant manager I understand the stress a kitchen and wait staff can endure, but having people wait 5-10 minutes before seating them at a table where they can start to at minimum order beverages. The ambiance is very old school, not in the best way possible, especially when the rest of the hotel the restaurant resides in was just remodeled. The wait staff did not seem happy, bubbly or energetic.
First things first, service from the front door to the table was superb. The food met all expectations and our server, cashier and the host who greeted us were absolutely perfect. There seemed to be some light construction in progress that took away from the overall atmosphere but was not being conducted while we were there.
All in all, I have high hopes for the future of this place. The food is already on point and the service is that sort of rare that makes legends.
