Great breakfast burritos! First time coming here while I was waiting for my annual safety inspection next door. Lots of customers coming in to pick-up to go early morning. Highly recommend to others . The Mr T burrito was amazing ????
Paid $12.31 for the TINIEST burrito of my life! 2 stars because it tasted good, but even then there were barely any ingredients, no tomatoe, lettuce, etc. Will never be coming back here and recommend you avoid.
I have had the pleasure of enjoying Anita's breakfast burritos at my job's catered events but have recently visited this location on Sunday morning for breakfast.
I've found the venue to be not to crowded at around 11 to noon and usually get the burrito meal which serves a signature burrito with shredded hash browns and I get an extra side of refried beans.
They offer friendly and accommodating service. I asked for a plate of plantains, beans, and eggs that wasn't on the menu. The waitress got me the "Centro Americano" which was the Plato tipico I desired.
The venue is kid friendly and the fair is very New Mexican and not Tex Mex. So you won't find any horchata and rather you'll find things smothered in beans and a signature sauce.
They offer a convenient kids' menu and some American style dishes so you are likely to find something that meets the needs of your party at a very affordable price.
I don’t know how to start totally wasting money to go there, all I see on my food was tomato and lettuce there was no steak at all
This was a small burrito for the price, considering it’s supposed to be a NM style breakfast burrito. The taste was good, but the size was interesting. The picture is after I took three bites of the burrito, and I don’t take big bites . There was no option on the app to make this burrito Christmas style, which is very basic NM. I eat at this restaurant because it’s the closest thing I can get out here (having been raised in NM), but it’s overpriced, and the portions are not great. Last time I got the chile relleno plate to-go, there were hardly any beans and rice for the side, one chile relleno, and I paid about $19 without tax or tip. I get prices are higher in VA than NM but rice and beans as sides shouldn’t be skimpy, at the very least. It’s a good thing I have real, roasted green chile in my freezer. I’ll probably start just going back to making NM food in my own kitchen.
Haven't been here in a while. The food was ok. We had some wings. Which did not have much flavor. I am not sure what the red sauce is in the wings. I ordered one meat taco. The grease soaked through the taco shell before it got to the table. I also had some sort of pulled pork. Very greasy. It was not my favorite. We also had the loaded pulled pork nachos. Which were ok. The atmosphere was ok. Service for us was slow. Appeared to be a large party that kept the Server preoccupied.
Moral of the Story:

FOOD:
Guacamole Dip: Flavors were dull. Big pieces of onion spoiled the main star of the dish, the Guacamole.
Never overshine the main actor or you will lose the main part. You must "become one with the Guacamole."
Pico de Gallo side. No flavors at all.
House Dressing: HYPERTENSION ALERT!!
So salty the Devil would be proud.
The Taco salad was decent. But the cheeses used seemed not fresh. Tasted like bulk cheese you buy at one of the members only stores.
The enchilladas:
Meat was acceptable. The rest of dish was ok.
Sad that this modern take on such great history of dishes doesn't represent any of the delicious and spectacular Mexican cuisine.
In short, "definitivamente" need to ramp up the quality control on dishes and ingredients used.
I've been there before and food was much better. Sadly, the current experience was sad. Those vibrant tastes in my previous visit were no where to be found.
No coherent flavors or ingredients. The light was on but not shining where it should.
Bathrooms: Clean
Prices: high due to food we received.
Why then so high stars? Customer Service.
But as a famous book says, "Not only from Customer Service shall humans live."

Maybe talk to your staff. We arrive and tell the young man seating us, "we have 4 adults and a baby, please". He looks around and says, "We don't have a table for that.". Then he looks a two top table with 3 seats at it and says "we only have this one."
Seriously! 4 people and a baby sharing a 2 top! "Family Restaurant".
Really disappointed!
