Best WLM Reviews
On our way to Vegas, we stopped to eat at this restaurant. I ordered an enchilada with a taco, rice, and beans. I was not a fan of the taco it was a bit soggy, and the rice was a little crunchy. It did have a good flavor. I really don't care for restraunt beans, and these were pretty good, honestly. We also ordered a chile Verde chimichanga, and it was more like a burrito, and the green chile is different. The flavor is good, though. The salsas and chips were good ???? price matches the portions.
Good atmosphere and staff was really nice but the signs on the way up said best Mexican food in town. It was average but not good enough to make a trip over. I’ve read a lot of the reviews here saying how great the food was so I was surprised how average it was. Not great and not bad. Staff nice but never refilled a coke and never refilled our chips. I had the maxed quesadilla and wife had a combo two taco plate. It comes with Mexican rice and beans but I would not eat the rice if I don’t love the taste. Beans were just ok.
This was our second time passing thru Wickenburg, AZ. We eat a ton of Mexican food on the road & both times we both said, “hands down best Mexican food we have ever eaten” !
The salsa is to die for and the green chili sauce is amazing. I could eat a bowl of the green chili sauce.
The chips are thin and fresh, like they were just fried. Everything we have had was delicious !
Taco, burrito, tamale, enchilada & chili relleno all superb ! I literally licked the plate to get the sauce. We will def be back we are Chefs & we live in Louisiana.
Best restaurant in Wickenburg !
Good foods.. the people working there are doing there best but still i dunno if there lacking people or so.. if u are in hurry u really need to wait at least 15 - 20 minutes part of that was the food which is normal if its too busy, but some reviews here were right, lack of person who'l take your order.. but over all its a good experience and good food.
#TAKE OUT ORDER
Our go to stop when out to ‘the Burg’. The chili relleno and red chili beef dishes are our faves. Good salsas!
Went to lunch for my birthday weekend. Had an excellent guide on margaritas. Tried the house tequila and dang it was good! Salsa is pretty good. Tamales are good too. Service was fine but started getting a little busy, atmosphere is always enjoyable. Will definitely be back for a 3rd visit and beyond
Went to this restaurant during my short stay in Arizona. Met the owner (older woman) who was amazing!!! That made the experience so much better when you meet the owner and get treated with respect. Food was great and highly recommended.
I love this place. So cute, great atmosphere, comfortable. There is always people enjoying themselves. The food I ordered was quite bland. Chips where good. I will go again for another option. Also did not try any desert.
