Poor customer service by person answering phone at front desk. The phone number listed on their website for their Maryland location, the Cattery, is no longer in service. I called the main number to find out the correct number, and they didn’t have it. They had to Google it and it was the same incorrect number listed on their website. When I explained that I wanted to call the Cattery to make an inquiry, they literally said “Well obviously if you can’t get through to them that’s not going to work, is it?”
Unprecedented level of bureaucracy, lack of common sense and poor judgement. Before you decide to do any busines with them, please read through other coments. The forms don't have instructions, or even company name (well, microscopic one for which you need magnifying glas that you realize does exist only after you are lectured about allegedly broken rules). They judge you and reject you based on their rigidity. They will see that your puppies are not fixed and will hold that against you, even if they see that they are too young to be fixed. It does not help explaining that puppies are scheduled to be fixed in December. Yes, they will hold that against you, but will neglect to see that you gave insulin shots for 2 years without any missed dose to your 15 y old beloved dog, or that you drove 3h one direction to take your 20 y old cat to get chemo. They tell me I am bad owner, but yet they do not have appropriate forms which would explain to me in advance what constitues bad owner. What is most sad, I was yesterday in the store - that kitten is still there, one month after my humiliating rejection, sadly sleeping in her cage. Shame on them. Your forms are for nothing. You don't explain adopting procedures and you don't take in account that average Petsmart visitor is not even aware that your company exist. You simply lure in people to do extensive, humiliating paperwork without explaining us into what we are getting ourselves in so that you can arbitrarily reject it, all of that while claiming you have best interest of the animal in mind. Anyone who reads this, please just skim through their forms and you will know what I am talking about. In their ignorance they are failing to recognize trully good pet owners. You could have done much better job of explaining in the Pestmart's forms who you are and where to read the rules before applying, so I would not have gone through this agony. No, you don't have best interest of pets in your mind. If you had, that kitty would not be still in the cage 1month after you rejected good and responsbile owner to offer her great and long life full of love.
Everyone that works here truly is about the animals. Please donate to this shelter. So many cats are tossed. I have a ferrel kitten that I took in. Animal Rescue made the cost of neutering him affordable for me. Thank you to all of the fine people at the rescue center.
Probably the worst experience I have ever had with a spay. My cat eve had been spayed by yall around march time, her surgery was botched her stitches hanging out. I picked her up still asleep. It's like you treat it as a revolving door and could care less how you treat others people's pets. Eve ended up having to get an additional surgery at my vet to correct what had been done. They. Refused to pay half, all they would offer was to do anther surgery on her. Sorry but no, you aren't touching her again. They said I was mean and hateful while trying to seek assistance to pay for eves surgery which cost over 600$. I only came here cause it was suggested by the people I adopted her from which they removed your clinic from their list after hearing what happend to eve. I also think a cleaning fee is ridiculous for a pet who is getting surgery it's bound to happen... yall lack a heart
This place is so great .they neutered my 2 Rescue Tom cats for very reasonable price. I tried several vets but they where way too expensive. The people there are very nice and Thank you to all the volunteers and the staff for helping animals in need. They sure could use some donations so they could continue the wonderful jobs they are doing for our communities. Thanks for fixing my boys Tigger and Leo.
Poor customer service. Call to ask questions they are ignorant and hang up on you. Don't go here to adopt animalsbor surrender go to family ran shelters. Don't trust these people if they can't talk to people correctly they can't be trusted

Wonderful place to take your animals, even if it is out of the way. Very affordable, very friendly staff. Such a great group of people doing great things. If you rescue, foster, or are attempting to help control local cat populations, you can't beat the prices compared to local vets. We took our animals here and highly recommend them.
