We had to come in over the weekend due to an emergency with our dog Bailey. We were a little nervous since it wasn’t our regular vet, but the whole staff was so incredibly kind and compassionate to us and our sweet Bailey. Thank you so much Animal Care Center for making the hardest day of our lives a little easier.
The visit was wonderful as always. Our puppies are always taken such good care of during our visits. Everyone from the front desk support, the vet techs, to the doctors are always so amazing. We appreciate the top notch service!
Fantastic, knowledgeable, and compassionate Doctor and staff. We are so very grateful to them for helping out our little aging Lulu (Shih-Tzu)while we are here from Georgia.
Jessie at reception was extremely professional and expedient with me and another emergent client who came in in a panic during my check in. She was calm and kind throughout.
During the visit Dr. Smitherman really took his time with us…explaining exactly what was wrong with Lulu, how it could have happened, and what we need to do moving forward. I had a lot of questions and he was happy to answer and very patient with me.
Brittany the vet tech was outstanding and even took extra time with us to show my husband and I how to administer three sets of eye drops for Lulu.
They were all amazing! Oh and checking out and paying while still in the exam room was fantastic. Such a customized experience. Thanks so much to everyone!!

My dog ingested an unknown amount of socks and we wound up here in an urgent care situation; she went into surgery same day and has recovered nicely. Everyone at this vet office is completely helpful and empathetic; I was reassured and comforted during our sock crisis, and I look forward to future (non-emergency) visits. Don’t hesitate to bring your pets here, and like I tell everyone, GET INSURANCE so you can have the freedom to choose the best care for your best friend.
this place is not the greatest. They are if you need something short term, but not long-term. I signed up for the paw plan When I first got my puppy, And to be fair, it did cover her vaccinations. However, I’ve had a medical emergency with her where she has continuously reverse sneezed, and wheezed lasting minutes, for months. While also having behavior issues that increasingly got worse. Meaning something had to have been going on and my poor dog was trying to tell me. I called because this is my primary place to go for her, And they told me for an urgent care visit with the paw plan, It would’ve been almost $100. That’s ridiculous. Considering I’m paying close to $50 a month for my nine month old, less than 10 pound dog. So I waited four days for a regular appointment, where they then proceeded to tell me that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with her and that maybe she’s lashing out against me. They then proceeded to try and prescribe her medication that would’ve been an additional $50 and not covered by the Paw plan.
It doesn’t cover, spay and neuter, Apparently, that’s another option of the paw plan.
I was genuinely concerned for my dogs health and they were not Very helpful.
I also requested if they could trim her nails since I groom her at home (Can’t afford a groomer And she won’t let me trim them myself) After expressing my financial situation, And refusing the medication because I could not pay for it, They also informed me That they would not charge me for the nail trimming As a “courtesy? “
I just now called to cancel my plan because I can’t afford it Especially if it doesn’t Cover the cost of medication if my dog needs it. Let alone in urgent care visit if she gets ill again.
I was then informed that I had a remaining balance of $200 That I would have to pay, Unless I wanted to continue with the monthly payments until only $140 is paid off. Obviously, I can’t drop $200 right now to cancel, So I opted to just take monthly payments. So now I am getting stuck with my almost $50 a month payment for doggy insurance. I don’t even have health insurance on myself.
This place is nice, And it’s great for something short term, but I wouldn’t plan on working with them long-term.
They did amazing please! Please! Wait for that appointment and for them to call you back. They get so busy and deal with so much stress but make sure they always have a smile on their face and are helping others thank you so much for taking care of sky girl that’s her name she’s doing so well and is as happy she can be.
We had to take our 16 year old Shih Tzu in. We were very happy with the care by the tech & vet. The entire staff was very caring. They called our dog’s regular vet for current records. I felt they were very thorough.
We had to take our 9 year-old Labradoodle in for an injured back paw while we were in town. They fit us in same day and took great care of him and provided the prescription that had him much better by the next day. I would highly recommend! It took about an hour and a half from arrival to departure, but everyone was great!
