This office went from being a wonderful place to bring your pets to a headache.
My mother, age 62, brought our dog because she got stung by a scorpion the day before. My mother was there for a few hours or more when another woman asked her how long she had been there. My mother said "i don’t know a few hours maybe" and the receptionist started yelling at my mother in front of the other customers. She said my mother needs to be more patient and wait her turn. My mother was so embarrassed she wanted to leave but the dogs health was more important. After the dog was seen by the doctor my mother started to tell the doctor what happened and that same receptionist decided to call my mother a liar in front of staff, customers, and the doctor.
Here we are 6 weeks later and my cat got attacked by another cat. I scheduled an appointment for Monday at 1:30pm. I called to confirm and the lady told me I had an appointment on Friday. I explained that I discussed that with the other member of staff, but I choose Monday at 1:30pm. She put me on hold, ended the call, the proceeded to call my mother and tell her there is nothing they can do.
I will never return to this establishment because of this.
I sadly had to bring my girl in for an emergency walk-in today. They took us in as soon as they could. The staff were all very understanding, professional and kind. Dr. Birdsong was very gentle with my dog and with myself during this very difficult time. I appreciate everything they did for us.
The staff is great. From the receptionist to the doctor, they all showed compassion for my sick cat. They explained everything in detail, including how to administer my cat's medicine. I have several veterinary offices near me and Animal Care Center is the furthest from my house making it a twenty minute drive instead of a five minute drive to any of the other vet clinics and I'd rather drive the extra miles knowing the kind of care she'll receive.
Dr. Cook is great, as are the front end staff. I really appreciate them and no hard sale upsells. Huck doesn’t have any issues with them. They do follow up calls to check on them after appointments.Have been using them for my 3 large dogs for many years.Very happy with them.
My grand daughter's cat that she's had since age 6 fell suddenly ill. They fit him in on an emergency basis.. unfortunately there was no viable treatment. The staff were so compassionate and caring, giving us the time we needed to say goodbye. I am so appreciative of them. Wonderful people all of them.
Being new to the area it's difficult to find a good vet. We had an emergency come up with one of our furbabies and needed something close by. Animal Care is literally 5 - 10 minutes down the road. We walked in the front office staff was friendly and efficient. The team in the back was also friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone was also caring and sensitive to ours and others needs. We have found a new vet for our babies.
The office has some old faces and new. I met one of the new veteranarians and he took good care of my dog for his annual check up.his assistants were all caring with my dog and the front desk is efficient. I had a longer wait in the waiting room which can be nerve wracking, maybe 30 minutes. One elective procedure was mentioned by the vet, but I couldn’t get over the higher than expected price, so I passed. Overall this has always been a good veteranian practice and usually their fees and care are at the top tier for our little community.
My dog Maxie was the winner of a recent senior wellness exam. The staff and Dr Ohayon were very professional and thorough. I recommend the services of the Animal Care Center for your pet needs.
