Best WLM Reviews

First time here. We live an hour and 52 minutes away but we will definitely be back. Our server Milly was an awesome person. Knowledgeable about the food and the best service we have had in a very long time. I recommend the Jack Daniel’s ribeye. All the food was hot, delicious and very fresh.
Ordered twice here. Medium well steak. Comes out medium rare I send it back to warm it up they send it out well done and dried up. They CANNOT make a medium well steak here. Waitresses are not excited to be here or very welcoming. Feels like a cheap diner not a steak house. Salad bar is good.
I ordered a medium well steak, which was unfortunately overdone and dry. However, the baked sweet potato and mashed potato were excellent, and I will definitely return, hoping for a better steak experience next time. Excellent customer service
When we eat local, this is one of our go-to spots. Occasionally they have messed up an order, or its way to busy and a server will be a bit rushed or rude. Normally it is a great experience though. The food is toddler approved, which is rare right now due to a picky eater. Went for breakfast not long ago, I personally loved the hash browns and pancakes, but not so much the gravy. Toddler enjoyed her whole meal. Our latest dinner outing was amazing, got lucky and it was not to busy on a Saturday evening. Got the steak tip pasta without the basalmic sauce with salad bar and fried pickles for an appetizer. Husband got his favorite the alligator dinner with sweet potato fries.
Food was okay, fried pickles were severely lacking in the breading. Our to go order took nearly forty minutes and was ordered 30 minutes ahead of time. Barely left enough time to eat on my lunch break. From previous visits the atmosphere is like that of a hospice cafeteria.
Went here for the second time tonight. Had gone once before several months ago. Our waiter at the time was phenomenal! The food was great. We were pleased!
Tonight, however. Was a different story. I ordered a steak. She women didn’t ask me how I wanted it took, but the gentleman I was with also ordered a stead, medium well. The waitress brings us our food, and I could tell when I started to cut into my steak that’s it’s not done. It’s was a little more cooked than raw. It was cold to the touch. My baked potato was also cold. The other persons steak was cold, and not done. His potato was also so cold, the butter wouldn’t melt. The food was unacceptable! Thankful for the waitress we had though! She was great, very sweet.
I got the mushrooms and Swiss burgers it was plain no flavor I can't even taste the cheese they used very low quality cheese. My husband got the Angus Prime ribs it's was supposed to be slowly cook. But it look like they just cut it off the loaf of meat and slap it on the grill for a few min the first prime rib came out it was super well done meat was all dry up he can't eat it. He had to tell them to give him another one medium cooked and it was over salted. The mashed potatoes are very plain. The only tasty item are the free bread and cinnamon butter. The service was bad waiting time for food take forever after we are done the waitress didn't even come pass the table ask us if we need dessert or the check. We have to tell another waitress by the door about the over cooked food and for the check. Over all bad and disappointing.
Stopped in after busy day for a late dinner (2 hours before closing) I ordered the 10oz ribeye with fries and macncheese for my sides, the lady ordered beef tips with fried okra and mashed potatoes as her sides, medium rare on both orders. 20 minutes after our order the waitress comes to tell us the veggies are on the grill now, 24 minutes later our food showed up way over cooked rubbery. Unfortunately a bad experience for a first and only visit. WILL NOT RETURN OR RECOMMEND. What a shame when they were in Mount Vernon it was OUTSTANDING.
