Best WLM Reviews

A staple of Raleigh and a must-visit during the festive season—it’s simply magical!
We are huge fans of the Turkey Lounge. It offers a slightly different menu but the same exceptional service. Our tradition is to split a steak, with each of us getting our own stuffed potato. Pro tip: Ask for extra fixings—you can never have too much butter! ????
On this visit, we started with the ribs appetizer, and my husband fell in love. We even purchased a jar of their sauce to bring the incredible flavors home. The best hidden gem? The house wine. Trust us—you won’t regret it! ????
After dinner, indulge in a fine whiskey. Their extensive selection of spirits is impressive, and it’s the perfect way to cap off the night. Don’t forget to take some time to enjoy the decor—there’s so much to see! ????✨
Tonight was my first experience at Angus Bar. Megan was our server and she did a phenomenal job. The place was exquisitely decorated and the food was worth every penny! I would fly back to NC just to come back for a meal here. The cream of broccoli soup and the crab cakes were delicious and of course- great steak!!
Succulent! Unsurpassed quality and service. Very reasonably priced for a steakhouse that includes salads and side dishes with every main course. A great place to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion -but reservations are a must. Great ambiance. Their birthday pound cake is second-to-none. Understandably amongst the best steakhouses in the country! Go hungry-you're not going to be disappointed. Ample parking on premises. Very friendly and courteous staff. Highly recommended
We got a 09pm reservation, it was easy to park and really fast to go to our table.
The service is great, everyone is really friendly.
The food was good, we ordered meatballs for appetizers and it was tasty, the caeser salad was great, super fresh and flavorful, the French onion soup was okay, nothing special, the tomahawk was great, they cooked perfectly the way we asked, the stuffed mashed potato was really good, the mac and cheese not so much, there was nothing special about it.
The atmosphere was incredible!
If you're able to get a reservation here, DO IT.
The hype is well earned.
From the Christmas decor to the friendly wait staff to the menu to the desert tray ... Everything is saturated in whimsy and Southern charm.
Our waiter, Austin, was the perfect host, full of wit and truly good recommendations (when he recommends the stuffed baked potatoes, it's a suggestion well-heeded).
Cannot recommend them enough.
The brilliance is the balance. Maybe it's not the very best food you've ever had, or perhaps you got better service at another place one time, or visited a place with license plates tacked to the wall - but with each one, you had to sacrifice something else.
Angus Barn is different in that you'll find great food, great service, and great atmosphere - pretty much every time.
I've gone here for over 30 years and it is always a good experience. That is remarkable in itself. If you've tried to make a reservation during the Christmas season, you already know - but everyone should give it a try at least once.
Absolutely phenomenal! Took my wife for date night. She had the ribeye and I had mahi mahi. Food was wonderful. Our server Daryl was awesome! Highly recommend having him as a server. Knows the menu front to back and very knowledgeable of the restaurant. The food was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed ribs and crackers and cheese which were awesome while we waited. The drinks were great as well. After dinner we took a tour of the restaurant. It's absolutely beautiful with a huge wine cellar and private dining rooms. We will definitely be returning. I wish I could post all the pictures of this place. One of my best experiences to date. The desserts are amazing as well the creme brulee and key lime pie were too notch. Thank you Angus Barn and thank you Daryl for an awesome experience.
Such a gem! We go at least once a year and are always impressed with the service, food and decor. Nov through Feb is decorated for Christmas and it's a must see!! We've also done the chef's table in the kitchen and that was amazing. We especially loved the behind the scenes tour afterwards!
