This place was popping! Clearly a very popular local hangout. I was lucky and got a seat at the bar right as someone was getting up. Of course I had to snack on some Angry Goldfish while I waited for my dinner, great snack for only a buck! I was told by the bartender that the pot roast dinner was the way to go and it did not disappoint. Very cool place.
So excited to have finally tried this restaurant! Loved tried southwest salad, Sweet Pig Mac & Cheese, homemade brownies and apple pie!
Holy tolito. The Exile beer for this place is fantastic. Service???? Oh you mean the nicest staff? Yeah they did a great job! Worth the U turn to see that grumpy fish and have some yummy food and beer! PAIGE WAS GREAT!
At 9:30pm on a Friday night, Angry Goldfish was 80% full with loud background music and very friendly and helpful staff. The food is amazingly good and portions are double what you'd expect. Prices are great considering you're likely taking home leftovers.
Maybe it's different at other times, but the music was so loud the staff had to practically yell at us to ask about drinks and what we wanted to order. Talking to others at our table was not possible.
Still, great people, great food, and we'll be back.
I really did enjoy this place and will come back. The food was really good and I just really enjoyed the overall vibe of this eatery. The service seemed semi chaotic/erratic at times, but we weren't really in a hurry or anything so I didn't care. The parking lot is pretty small, but you can park across the street and play a bit of real life frogger to get to the Pub. I look forward to returning and trying more of their food sometime in the future.
Don't be fooled by the outside when you pull up to this unassuming spot. The inside is extremely clean and well put together, not that the outside was bad or anything like that, plus it was a rainy, gloomy day. The decor was good, clean, and well lit. The service was very good for being understaffed. Food was excellent all the way around our table! Would definitely recommend and plan to go back to try some of the other burgers on the menu ????
Fun place with great food options! Love they do deals on their burgers and the fact they have gluten free buns available!
Food is super good! I’m not from here but all the locals I know say it’s the best burger in town, I definitely wasn’t disappointed!!
