First time at this restaurant. The experience was absolutely amazing!
The service, food, ambiance, everything was fantastic! Will definitely go back. We had the Fish Boil for two. We ended up taking some home it was so much. Also took a piece of cheesecake home for later. It was awesome as well.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE ANGRY CRAB? The salad was slimy. Old lettuce, old cucumbers, YUCK. I sent it back. Substituted the Cole Slaw which was equally inedible, it was very bitter, it actually looked OLD and a bit off color. The once DELICIOUS clam chowder had zero clams in it. The cod and fries were good and the wine was cold! Our server Katie was great! Good job Katie ~ oh and by the way, there were only two people working, and as far as I could tell, one of them was doing the cooking. Hey there owners... you better take a hard look at what you are doing. I doubt I will return, which is a bummer because I've been a loyal customer for several years. AND btw, your plastic glasses are chipped around the rim and unsanitary. Not just my cup, all the cups. The Health Department would NOT allow these to be served to customers.
Really not impressed..from atmosphere to food and how it is served..no plates unless you ask for it, served in a bag! I love Crab… for what I spent not going back! And the potato was in the bag too and smaller than a tennis ball..the corn was half a small cob and also in the bag..and I was so excited to go as I never been.. I would not waste your money!
The food here is nothing less than perfect!! The service is great and very friendly. I very highly recommend this place. I had jambalaya and my friend had the shrimp and grits. We also had hush puppies for an appetizer.
Going to have dinner here was literally inspiring.

Dennis, our server, was awesome! Phenomenal job. Everyone here was very relaxed and very attractive. The food was delicious! I got the jambalaya and my wife got the lobster roll. The jambalaya was so delicious I vowed to make my own!
A week later, I did! And it was great! Thanks Angry Crab shack for inspiring me. Hopefully you guys have gator nuggets in stock soon!:)
We had excellent service from our waitress! The happy shrimp cocktail for $5 was best deal at a restaurant lots of big shrimp! The two person deal was good but I would just order by pound and add ons the crab legs are good but you don't get a lot of meat. The only downside is I would of gotten one level Spicier but the waitress the level 2 I got was really spicy and it was not spicy to me at all. Definitely would go again though and suggest it to friends.
The experience was so so. While our server was pleasant, the host was not. We both ordered the shrimp bowl with garlic sauce and pasta. The sauce is fantastic, but our shrimp was over cooked and so was the pasta. So much so that it was almost gummy. The veggies were barely blanched and our bowls were full of the water from them, and they had no flavor. When we told the manager he apologized, and told us if we come back we should order the boil in a bag because that is what they are known for. He did take $1.50 off both our meals that we barely touched.
We will not be going back.
Arrived at 11:14am the second couple sitting down since open at 11am. First time at Angry Crab figured we love seafood and heard so much about it. Waitress was very kind. We ordered shrimp and grits which was pretty bland, the seafood sampler they were out of clam strips so we got calamari, shrimp and hush puppies. Then also ordered Gator Nuggets that came with Cajun seasoned fries and coleslaw. All the fried food came out dark. Oil hasn't been changed in like 2 days and food was chewy, very gummy and dry. The Margarita was left over house from the night before. You could taste that it was sitting there. When asked by the waitress we explained everything and said we'll pay for everything but we won't be back. She apologized and sent the manager over. We showed her the color of the food, broke a gator nugget open for her to see how dry it was. She didn't even argue the fact of the oil, all she could say is that she hopes not (oil being old). We explained that it's not in their hospitality it's the kitchen being allowed to serve this. The restaurant is in a senior area and maybe they've been getting away with it because their clientele isn't so familiar. But you can see in the pics for a just opened for the day place the color of the food is terrible. Taste wasn't good. They did comp $22 of the $55 bill. We explained they didn't have to buy appreciated it. Don't like sending food back. No trust in that. Needless to say got home 15 minutes later and all the food came up. Never again.
