Genuinely the best service I’ve had in a long time.. it’s family owned and from the moment you step in you feel the love.. every single staff member was warm and helpful.. reggie was our waiter and he was phenomenal.. just really great food but honestly even if it wasn’t i would solely just come back for the service alone
The angry crab shack in Atascocita is a hidden gem. The food is obviously prepared by people with a great deal of experience about Cajun cooking. I ordered the crab and shrimp. They were bathed in this wonderful sauce and seasoning that was a little spicy, but incredibly flavorful. The corn,and potatoes, all made the experience, very warming to the heart. My wife ordered the fried shrimp and fries. They butterflied the shrimp and pounded until they were gigantic! The atmosphere, the vibe and the service was very relaxing and definitely a place to return to. If only crab was cheaper, lol
I took my husband here for his birthday… I have nothing bad to say.. food was awesome.. but the service was absolutely amazing… everyone made us feel like we were eating with family and not like strangers. Eric was Awesome!!!! He deserves a raise… we for sure will be regulars…

I don't recommend coming here. It was extremely slow for it being Fri night dinner. I could literally count the number of tables with 1 hand. We told the greeter we need a table for ADA reasons. He wanted us to sit in a booth. We told him again, we need a table. He sits us at the only table, that's not for large parties. Our waitress was ok. The food was burnt, extremely salty, and greasy. The hush puppies, were fried in old oil, to the point they were black. The catfish was so hard it chipped my tooth. My daughter's fish and chips were the same way. She also had grits that came out cold. Save the money and go to long john silvers.
Absolutely the BEST crab I’ve ever had in my life! My grandma Suzy and I were first timers tonight and were absolutely beside ourselves with how amazing the food was, but the hospitality from our server Eric, the owner Robin, and manager Shawn were incredibly personable and welcoming. 100% will be back!
Ok, let me first say : that I was NOT expecting this type of ‘experience’. I walk in, Eric greets me - what a GREAT VIBE HE HAS - I could ‘feel’ his great mood and that he’s HAPPY to be working here. Too many restaurants I can TELL …THAT vibe is FAKE!! Not here. He went thru the menu with me and based on what types seafood I like, he made suggestions. You can put together ANY blend of seafood- THEN- choose your FLAVORING. There are quite a few choices from MILD- to OMG. LOL I usually do NOT like ANYthing but BLAND mild, but he talked me into the garlic blend that had a little kick and I was surprised at just how much I enjoyed it. The crab was FRESH, I can TELL, because it was SOOO easy to just slide out of the shell once I cracked it open. I didn’t have WORK WORK WORK to get the meat out.
The atmosphere : music playing - thank GOD it wasn’t BORING!!! This food, was AWESOME. Hats off to the cook!!! The drink (I RARELY ‘drink’) was a ‘Tongue and Groove’. Had some rum in it pineapple n a few other ingredients- it was DELICIOUS!!! Just the right amount of alcohol. I haven’t given a restaurant 5 stars in a LONG time. This place, DESERVES it. See what can happen if ya just TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT?
I had the pleasure of having Ty take care of me today. He was attentive and a friendly young man who I hope is here next time I stop by. My food was delicious…especially the gumbo. The drink I had was very good…Shawn added cherry juice to my rum and Pepsi and it was perfect. If you haven’t been here you should give Angry Crab a try…you won’t regret it!???? ????
