Me and my woman were on a getaway trip to Eureka Springs. We stayed in a cabin not too far from this restaurant. The first night we arrived, we figured we would try something local considering it was later in the night and we were kind of tired. We got to Anglers about an hour and a half before they closed yet they were super welcoming and friendly! They checked up on us regularly and joked around a bit which really gave us some comfort considering this was the first place we went to in Eureka :). I unfortunately don’t have any pictures of the seafood but it was SO good. Considering we came close to closing, the food still tasted fresh! We are from Little Rock where the fried seafood can be ok at times, but the catfish and shrimp here? No contest. My woman got the coconut shrimp (which she doesn’t particularly like fried things) but she couldn’t stop talking about how much she loved the shrimp there. I have never done this in my life but I personally asked if I can thank the chef in person because the seafood was bar none as far as the lightly deep fry and the taste. He came out for a bit to listen to me rant about how good of a job he did haha! It was so good that we were willing to go back there instead of trying a new restaurant the next day, but they are closed on certain days out of the week/year so we couldn’t visit them again before we left. If you are in the area and like seafood/fried seafood I would at least give this restaurant a shot. Very good food, not expensive for what you get, and really friendly people. Next time we visit Eureka we are going to make sure they are open so we can drop in! Thanks for reading have a good day!
Best fried catfish Ive ever had in my life. The fried walleye was incredible as well. My first time having walleye and I loved it. In fact everything was good. The okra, hushpuppies, seasonal veg, and onion straws were all great! The service was spectacular!! Highly recommend!!
What a lovely experience! Super friendly service, delicious food and an awesome vibe on the patio! We had the crab cakes, catfish, shrimp, sweet potato fries, slaw and green tomatoe relish...yum!
Food was AMAZING here. Walleye with veggies was spectacular! Soup of the day was delicious as well. The buffalo chicken salad was so filling and delicious! Love the table cloths ????
We found this place about 4 years ago and we always eat here, and always have a great experience! The wings are big, and the flavors are good. I've had bone in and boneless. Both are great. I had the Haddock fish sandwich, and my hubby had the fish tacos. Both were great! We know good fish, we eat it on the Gulf Coast, reguraly. The atmosphere, food, and service are all great. We will be back next trip.
This was a very recommended restaurant and it did not disappoint! The crab cakes were incredibly moist and tasty. The staff gave us a warm welcome upon arriving and our waiter was attentive, kind, and recommended some great dishes. The catfish was so moist and crisp on the outside. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for food in area!
It was pretty good. I wouldn’t say the best, however, the hush puppies were awesome! The best part of the meal by far. The crab cake was over-fried. The coconut shrimp, was average but the zesty orange sauce was good! I give it three stars just because it didn’t blow me away. The patio was dog friendly!
We ate there twice due to the food being absolutely delicious, the staff being fun, friendly and accommodating with food allergies!
The salmon was cooked to perfection, along with the catfish and shrimp!! The chef’s salad was definitely enough to please a hungry male and the hot buffalo chicken sandwich and green tomato relish was delicious too! They have an a plentiful beer/wine selection and we will be back!
