Pulled into the lot to dine in, directed by staff to use the drive thru. Menu has a lot of options for fish and chicken. I ordered the shrimp/fish. Meal came with two sides (okra, green beans), and I ordered red beans & rice on the side. The cashier attendant was very respectful and friendly.
I stopped here because I have driven past several times and wanted to support. However, for me, the food was just basic. The most desirable dishes were the shrimp and redbeans & rice. The greenbeans had absolutely no flavor or seasoning (seemed right out the can), the okra was decent. The catfish, however, did not hit the spot. Everything was cooked to a golden brown. The seasonings in the batter make the fish, and in this case, that was lacking too. They don't carry any desserts. All the food was hot and looks great in the photos. The prices were reasonable for the servings.

It looks totally different. This is my first time eating here, and I did not know what to expect, but with a 4.2 rating. I was hoping for the best, but I was blown away by the size of the fish and the amount of food that you get for the price. This is hands down some of the best catfish that I've ever had and I love the seasoning on the fries and fish.
Their fried fish is truly delicious. It's ALWAYS fresh, hot, and crispy. The portions are huge and sometimes they even throw in an extra piece! The okra is super good, and their fries are pretty good too. Sometimes the other sides (mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, coleslaw) is a little disappointing quality wise but I go for the fried goodies!! The Angie's sauce they have is a twist on normal tartar and pairs perfectly, I always ask for extra. Service has always been nice and prompt, with the food being cooked to order. Great price for the value. They also have a seasoning they use that's a little lemony/salty/zesty and it's great.
It's a no frills kinda food place, but I never leave disappointed.
I ordered a 6 piece catfish meal with Ocra. Got my order from the drive thru and the little asian guy asked me if i needed any sauce. I said yes please can i have some tarter sauce and regular Angies sauce. They gave me one little ramikin of each. Im at work 15 mins away. So disappointed.
Delicious. Great batter. And the red beans and rice are sublime. And those french fries... yum. Only disappointment was the mac and cheese, it had a little bit of a institutional/cafeteria flavor it was still edible. Philly cheese steak, while a little greasy, still had great flavor. The gravy was good, but a little bigger portion would have better, 2 oz ramekin for 3 piece chicken was a little on the skimpy side.
I was Really impressed with this restaurant and could've easily bypassed it if it wasn't for a friend's referral. I am totally in love with their seasonings and they're right on route 66 so you get a cool view of such a historic drive while eating delicious comfort food. Psst. be sure to try the Angie's secret ???? sauce ????
Fish and shrimp were good. Food was hot and fresh. The floor inside was really sticky and the restroom didn't have soap.
First time going here. Busy in drive thru but Well Worth The Wait! Large portions, reasonably priced. Fried okra has some kind of seasoning was really good. Give them a try and thank me later.
