Best WLM Reviews
The selection is amazing. Parking is plentiful and vast. But can you please fix the potholes in the parking lot. Also, can you please properly label your aisles. There is no way a place this huge should not have clear signage when looking for hair dye, rollers, hair gel, etc. I just moved to the area and I am new to your store. And I end up spending too much time wandering around aimlessly looking for what I need. Time is money. And when I don’t feel my time is valued that could make people go elsewhere despite having a vast selection. It’s kind of like how you feel when you go into a Home Depot or Lowe’s. You feel so overwhelmed and lost. And like no one cares. Please fix the signage issue asap. Or I may go to Walmart instead. Also, your store reps don’t proactively offer to check our account to see if money or discount dollars on our accounts. I could have saved $2 on my last purchase, but the clerk, didn’t bother to look to tell me. I had to ask, but by then, my purchase was done. Now, I have to come back and use it later. I do love the shoppers card, but if you can’t build loyalty if the cashiers don’t proactively ask for it like Kroger does.
Wide selection but the return policy is unfair. They SELL products with no seal, but do not allow them to be returned. You don't have any way of knowing this until you get the receipt with the policy on it/purchase is made. It's not posted anywhere. They don't remove expired product, but won't let you return it. Fine, then I'll only buy hair and tools, not products.
Well, the final straw that made me decide not to shop here anymore is when I saw the sales girls being berated about break times, clocking in/out right behind the counter in front of customers.
This store is massive! While clothing and accessories like purses can be a bit pricey, everything else is reasonably priced. It never lets me down when I need to stock up!
It’s huge! It’s a beauty supply store that’s the size of a neighborhood Walmart. They didn’t have the wig I wanted but still had one that was comparable. The line was long but moved pretty fast as they had 4 registers open. Great selection of half wigs.
Somewhat of a con: staff are not really that enthusiastic or helpful.
Largest beauty supply on the Eastside! I've been a loyal customer when they were just a small store. They have grown tremendously over the years!
This place is amazing. It's the Disneyland of beauty supply stores. Be warned, you may lose large chunks of time upon entry. Lol.
This is my kids' favorite beauty supply store. It's very big and you can find just about anything here including tons of clothes. I gave it 4 stars because other stores close later than they do, their curling/straightening iron selection is not that great, and the staff is not always friendly they're more annoyed or just putting up with the customers. I can deal with the hours and hot iron issue but I can't stand rude staff and I hate feeling unwelcome or like I'm a burden. They have decent deals and a rewards card. On Friday and Saturday if you spend over a certain amount you can get something for 10 cents but that's only on those two days. Also, if you want a certain deal, you have to split your purchases. Example: We spent $230 and I wanted to get the deal "spend $100 and get something for 10 cents" and I thought they would let me get 2 things because I was over $200 but they said they would have to start all over again and ring it up as two transactions, which didn't make any sense to me, but that's their policy to decide so just be aware.
I love this beauty supply store! It is very spacious, vast selection of products, and you can shop until you drop in there. I usually get hair products like a hair bonnet, bandanna for wrapping my hair up, and press on nails ????????. However, my only concern is the customer service. Only 6 workers care about the needs of customers (2 Black young ladies with hijabs ????????, a Latina young lady with long wavy hair, another Black young lady, 2 Asian young ladies, and some of the fellas). The rest seem like they couldn’t care less about how they treat customers. They seem to hate their jobs and don’t want to be bothered. Now, I understand that everyone has different personal things going on in their lives that can spill over into their jobs. Could be that this job is temporary and they’re just pushing through until they get a better job? Maybe they get a lot of rude and disrespectful customers that make them not want to take good quality customer service seriously? For some, it could be their “squidward-like” personality? As someone who has worked/is still working customer service, I understand that customers can take you to your breaking point/limits/push one’s buttons and may impact one’s feelings of working at a particular store to the point an individual goes on this “buzz off” type mood to everyone that enters an establishment. It can be difficult to fake it till you make it for many people. I get it but to the point it impacts your attitude to treat polite/kind customers with a sour attitude is pretty messed up imho. I hope you guys will feel better in whatever y’all are going through in life.
