Best WLM Reviews

Had the best experience at Angelo’s! I tried the Chef Anthony’s special, which was sea bass with risotto, and it was spectacular. Tried my sister’s Gorgonzola port wine steak and it was amazing. Had the Sicilian calamari for an appetizer, which was a pleasant change from breaded calamari. Service was great, food was lovely, atmosphere was glowing.
We were visiting from out of town, didn’t realize that they prefer for clientele to make reservations in advance when possible. Also you must request in advance their gluten free bread. They only make it if there are requests.
Thankfully the evening weather was nice and we were able to eat outside. Our waitress was super sweet, knowledgeable about the gluten free options, and very attentive. Since I didn’t preorder the bread there was no gluten free bread available for me that evening. I ordered a spaghetti and Italian sausage (meatballs use breading) and instead of traditional spaghetti noodles it was a penne. Which I still found very good. The Italian sausage was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I had a salad with Italian dressing. I was very full when I was done eating. My husband wasn’t very impressed with his meal.
This restaurant was an awesome experience. It was so cute and cozy. We came for my mom's birthday and the waitress was so accommodating and sweet. She even brought out dessert with a candle to sing to my mom. Thanks so much for your kind service and efforts. ❤️❤️
This was just delightful. We came for our wedding anniversary, and it was perfect. It has a romantic atmosphere with a low lit interior and hanging lamps above the tables. The menu is wonderful with lots of options. The food was delicious. I had the Pollo Marsala and loved it. One of our favorite things we got was the red pepper soup with goat cheese. Their soups rotate every day though, and I’ve heard they’re all delicious. If you are in the mood for fancier dining and wonderful food, I suggest you come here. P.S. Their bread is also incredible.
Went to this place for the first time the other day while in town. The interior is beautiful. Very romantic feeling. Service was excellent. They serve a fresh Italian bread and the meals are fantastic. Between the four of us we got two orders of chicken fettuccini alfredo, spinach lasagna, and the sea bass special. The alfredo was so creamy and cooked to perfection. The chicken was seasoned perfect and so tender. My son said the sea bass was the best he had ever had. My husband said the spinach lasagna was also delicious. I recommend this place 100%.
We used Angelo’s catering for my grandmother’s funeral lunch two weeks ago. We had the best experience! We are still hearing from friends and family raving about how good the food was! It was a huge comfort knowing my grandmother would have loved the food as well! We will definitely be using Angelo for future catering needs!
Absolutely phenomenal food, service, & atmosphere! Everything was perfect! Willamina was super friendly and attentive.
After researching restaurants in the local Coeur D'Alene area, we came upon this Italian restaurant which caught our eye with Chef Angelo's passion for organic, local farm sourcing and many positive reviews... We seek out unique and high-quality, intimate Italian venues both local and when we travel... Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated at a semi-private quiet table. Donna, our server, was a ray of sunshine and a chalice of radiant light! Seriously... with her warm smile and soulful embracing, beautiful demeanor, we immediately knew we arrived exactly where we needed to be... We decided on a simple chianti on the glass pour list, which was a wonderfully generous pour for both of us... and the wine was perfect. We began our culinary bliss with the vegetable antipasto which included wonderfully Grilled and Marinated Vegetables, Olives and Fresh Mozzarella (was not expecting the BEST eggplant we have ever had on a starter plate like this...) which led my wife to ordering the eggplant parmesan. After we placed our entree orders, Donna kindly brought us a small taste of the scrumptious silky butternut squash soup which was topped with delicately crisped pepitas. We devoured the soup and wished we had ordered a giant bowl... but the fresh baked focaccia had arrived and more courses were on the way... Our entrees arrived and were a feast for the eyes... and they tasted just as delicious! The eggplant parmesan was crisp and light as a cloud... sided with a perfectly al dente bucatini noodle and fresh, bright red sauce... again, THE BEST eggplant my wife has ever enjoyed. Now... let us talk about the meatballs... I got the bucatini with meatballs... the sauce, delectable... the meatballs... are you sitting down?? Lean, pillow soft, hearty, herby, perfect mouthfeel, flavorful, insatiably delightful!
Atmosphere was ma and pop taste of Italy experience... The entirety provided for a very romantic experience which was to pay off later that evening... but we digress...
We can't recommend this restaurant enough... for the food, the experience and the beautiful Donna... Be sure to ask to sit in her section... And then enjoy YOUR romantic evening after your visit... Salud!
