Chicken Piccata is delicious. All the flavors of the capers, lemon, and cream sauce. I'll be back for this dish alone. The oil spice with the bread was good. The Caesar salad was very good. The house made croutons were a nice touch; soft and crisp.
I came for the Thursday Special $5 House Wine and $7 Happy Hour Appetizers. They serve house rolls and olive oil to each table, and exceptional service. Preferred local Italian Restaurant 10/10
Great pizza place!!! The service was top notch and the food was delicious. I love the taste of the pizza and the garlic bread was yummy. One tiny suggestion would be to offer roasted garlic pieces for people to dip the bread with the olive oil!!! 10/10
First time eating at Angelo’s after we got off our cruise ship looking for someplace to eat, we were tired of pizza and wanted something different, so we got a Alfredo, toasted ravioli, baked ziti, wings and spaghetti.. it was really good!
I’ve always found myself passing by this establishment and never giving it a try. Tonight I decided to give it a try and it was everything, if not more, of what I wanted it to be.
The complimentary rolls were so fresh and soft and with the oil ????. I ordered lasagna and it just hit a spot that I felt other fast food chains are not able to do so. Will definitely keep coming back. Our server Sam, was very attentive and friendly. Overall a very nice restaurant that surpassed my expectations.
So I ordered Baked Ziti, garlic bread, and a Caesar salad. I have never tried their food, but decided to give it a try after someone recommended it to me. I did order my dinner, so I wasn’t in the restaurant and maybe that had something to do with this, but the bread was extremely soggy and burnt and in my baked ziti I found a spaghetti noodle several large chunks of onion and a piece of what I am assuming is a mushroom. Not to mention the baked ziti sauce tasted pretty watered down. Very sad because I Was looking forward to some really authentic Italian food. But the oddity of what I found in my food perplexes me. And the sauce didn’t not taste good at all.
Our first time here. In fact, our first time in Houston, Texas! We wanted to eat at mostly local businesses. We googles something and Angelo’s Pizza and pasta was second option. We decided to eat at Angelo’s because they had better reviews then the other local pizza joint. Good parking. It was a great dine in vibe. It wasn’t too busy when I got there. It was a party of 4. Place was nice and clean. Every food we got was delicious. From the mozzarella sticks, to the chicken wings, to the bottle of wine, and the pizza. We enjoyed every part. Customer service form our server was pretty decent. My guess was, he’s an introvert? Nevertheless, if we’re ever in town, I’d definitely not make this a second but 1st choice pizza spot.
Stopped in for a late night snack. Yummy pepperoni pizza excellent, dinner salad with blue cheese dressing. Service was efficient and quick. I’d recommend you trying this place out.
