This is my second time eating at this establishment. The last time was a few years ago right after they first opened and I enjoyed the experience then. This particular restaurant seems to have sunken in several facets. The customer service wasn't what I would consider sufficient, albeit the waitress was friendly. She didn't bring me silverware, didn't come by much and there is apparently a one napkin allowance until you ask for additional ones. The food wasn't impressive. This was my last visit to this location.
I've eaten at the location in Troutville many times and the food is very good and the staff is attentive, but it's a much smaller store and probably easier to monitor dine-in customers.
Amazing service by Amanda and the food was wonderful!! I order Shrimp & Grits anywhere I go that serves them but I am disappointed about 75% of the times. NOT today! They were amazing! The grits were flavored and cooked well, the shrimp was not overcooked and the andouille sausage had just the right kick!! My husband's Cowboy Burger was also just as wonderful! The burger was flavored and cooked medium as he requested. The bun was toasted and the toppings were fresh! Thank you Mr Angelle for a pleasant experience all around!
I think this is our new breakfast place. Two weekends in a row. I had the "Florentine Benedict" & my husband had the "Veggie Skillet". So good!! Beverages were a Bloody Mary & Blueberry Memosa. $5 each!! Our wait staff was amazing. Thank you Nina & Maliena. These ladies work very hard to make your experience exceptional. Never waiting for coffee or anything. Pricing is very good & we love the outdoor patio. We're definitely becoming regulars.
I had this brisket platter.....terrible!!! Before ordering I asked how the brisket is prepared. Smoked and grilled is wat I was told. This is a huge plate I was told. Asked for my sauce on the side so I could taste the brisket. Brisket is just a roast, the pulled pork has the consistency thar it was reheated. No smoke on anything, and the brisket was slathered in sauce. The helpings were small. I got mustard greens for a side.....absolutely zero seasoning on them....the salad was good though!! Waste of $18. Very disappointing!!!
Ate here after hiking the AT for 3 days. Corinne was our server - super nice and helpful! Food was incredible and relatively cheap. Great place. BOOYAH!
We were just passing by on our way back to Atlanta and found this place. We really enjoyed the food and service. I highly recommend this place for breakfast.
From the moment you step into Angelles, you are greeted with the kind of warm, welcoming atmosphere that promises an authentic Southern dining experience. The restaurant embodies the essence of Southern hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels like part of the family.
The menu at Angelles is a treasure trove of Southern classics, each dish prepared with love and an attention to detail that can only come from a deep-rooted passion for comfort food. Whether you're indulging in their perfectly crispy fried chicken, savoring the rich and creamy macaroni and cheese, or diving into a slice of their heavenly pecan pie, Angelles consistently delivers on the promise of a truly satisfying meal.
The magic of Angelles doesn't just lie in the food, but also in the exceptional service. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is nothing short of remarkable. They serve up smiles as readily as they do their delicious fare, making sure that your water glass is always full, your orders arrive promptly, and any special requests are met with a can-do attitude.
What sets Angelles apart is the unmistakable authenticity of its cuisine. Each dish is a testament to the rich culinary traditions of the South.
