I recently visited Angelita's at La Caridad Bakery, and I have to say, it’s hands down the best Cuban bakery I’ve ever been to! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the smell of fresh pastries and cakes that instantly transport you to Cuba.
Their cakes are something else—moist, flavorful, and beautifully decorated. I tried the tres leches, and it was honestly the best I've had. But it’s not just about the cakes! They have an incredible variety of Cuban treats, from pastelitos to empanadas, and everything is made fresh daily.
The staff is super friendly and always ready to make great recommendations. If you’re craving authentic Cuban flavors or need a cake for a special occasion, this is the place to go! I can’t wait to come back for more. Highly recommend!
Guava pastries were AMAZING ???????? Cafe con leche was very good too. Fresh bread and beautiful desserts something for everyone!
This Bakery is incredible. A wide variety of desserts. The place is small but very organized. The work team is very professional and provides excellent service. In addition to desserts, they also have beaf and chicken pastries and a tasty Cuban Sandwich. Also a tasty guava pastries. ????????????????????????????????????????
Get your employees to answer the phone and not let customers hanging for over 20 minutes waiting. I have called today 12/18/2024 asking for a cake for my son with a Roblox theme. It was a rude she that answered the phone. I was more than patient waiting on the phone to be served but I hang up knowing she wouldn’t pick it back up after close to 20 minutes waiting. This is unacceptable and will bring your business if you don’t know it to the ground. FYI, this call was made today exactly at 8:30 am. You just lost an order worth more than a $100 dollars easily and more importantly a customer that had been going there for years.

One of the best pastelitos de guayaba y queso I've ever had. It was flakey and STUFFED with filling. The staff was very friendly and the woman who helped me was bilingual. Their pastries are very reasonably priced. My only regret is that I only bought four and shared them with my family. ???? I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Tampa!
The place offers a variety of Cuban delicatessen. The bakery has great selection of deserts. Cuban sandwiches are excellent but quality make difference depending on how they prepare them for you and last but no least the price is high.

First time here and the pastries were as fresh as I've ever tasted. fantastic Cuban sandwiches also. This place was packed with locals but they had several staff members to accommodate everyone quickly. The prices were very reasonable and there was a very large variety of pastries to choose from. If you're looking for these types of pastries and Cuban sandwiches I would highly suggest you give this place a try
