It was an awesome experience for me and not my first!! Alcohols are a great mix, Pepsi and jack a bit strong but fantastic. Shrimp and linguine was DELICIOUS. Yum. Lasagna.. very disappointing. It actually had a can taste and a mushed texture, I am hoping this was just a bad day, but unfortunately my fiancés first impression left him not wanting to return for a while. Please try and fix the lasagna! I hope it isn’t from a can..
Atmosphere and friendliness and all was amazing. Super helpful in suggesting and refilling. Keep up the great work in this tough world!!
How refreshing to eat somewhere that doesn't feel like it exists solely to make money. The food is phenomenal. The wait staff is attentive and makes sure you're having a good time with great service and little quips and despite being busy they're not kicking you out the door. They're cracking jokes. They're making sure you're enjoying yourself.
I highly recommend trying Angelini's.
We are the mussels as an appetizer which was just the right amount of salty.
For my main course I had the pork osso buco which was fall off the bone tender. Highly recommended when they offer it.
Great place. Found by accident and we are glad we did. Food was great and filling (didn't take pictures). Service and staff was very good, helpful, and friendly. We were seated in the bar area and found it comfortable. Highly recommend and will stop there again when given the chance.
Just had a Maxwell Street dog at Gino's next door - and the only thing I don't understand is.............why isn't there a longer line at lunch.....? It was awesome, better than the ones I used to get in Chicago. The grilled onions are super-sweet and go great with the sport peppers and ketchup...just kidding - no ketchup, just yellow mustard the way it's supposed to be.
I wanted to take a picture but I couldn't stop eating it long enough to grab my photo and snap one. Next time.
Sadly I found this place after I moved away. For 30+ years Christmas eve dinner has been stuffed crust pizza. Now when I get to town for Christmas they are our saving grace. The owners are all about satisfying the customer. The food is top notch. If you're a Chicago fan in the land of cheddar, show your colors with pride and step inside. Real food, real people doing it right, in Onalaska.
We really enjoyed the food! We did have to get a drink at the bar (with lots of drink options) until a table was ready. We got a large deep dish pizza for two people, and that had A LOT of leftovers. It was delicious though. I also ordered the seafood pasta, and I loved the oil/garlic/crushed pepper sauce. The service was friendly and fantastic. There is a cool Italian theme in the restaurant, and there is a great view of Lake Onalaska and the bluffs. Remember that each entree comes with a limencello shot as an after dinner drink!

Highly recommend Angelini's! I haven't tasted such good Italian food in many years. The bruschetta was recommended as an appetizer and it was delicious. I ordered the ultimate chicken parmigiana for dinner because I love mushrooms and green peppers, and it's the best I've ever had. An Italian friend used to cook for me and this tasted just like her homemade sauce. Soooo good! My table split a cannoli since we were all so full, my first time having one, and let's just say the bar has been set very high for any future ones I taste. The service was amazing, our server was friendly and funny. He even remembered and wished us all good luck at the state track and field competition before we left. I only wish there was one closer to my hometown as this is over 3 hours away. Hopefully we have state qualifiers every year so we can come back!
