Angelina’s Pizzeria never disappoints. I’ve known about this place since I lived in the area back in 2009. The consistency is excellent. We always used to visit for their amazing calzones. The sauce is exquisite! Whenever we come from Miami to visit family in the area, we always make sure to stop by and order their calzones because they’re the best we’ve ever had. I highly recommend trying them!
The Sicilian pizza is delicious and the best in Deland that I have had. We ordered ours to go. The staff was friendly when we picked it up. It was still hot when we got home. Plenty of sauce and good amount of cheese. We will definitely be returning.
I came in to buy a calzone and some slices for my family to go. The restaurant itself was very busy and lively but personally felt a little claustrophobic for me. Others may describe this as cozy but it was crowded to me.
The food though was really good. The calzone family size is huge and I easily shared with 3 other people.
The service is fine. I didn't interact much with them enough to really say if they were super friendly or not. Great food though!
First time dropping in and I have to say I am impressed. I’ve been to a lot of pizza places down here in Florida and most are hit or miss. This place is a hit. Pizza is delicious. From the crunchy soft crust, to the delicious tomato sauce the pizza hits the spot. Rice balls were also really good, however I think 8 bucks is pricey for one rice ball. We also got the chocolate cannoli cake a little too much cake and not enough cream, but it was still good. Restaurant was clean inside and very busy, staff was friendly and attentive and the wait for food wasn’t too long. Will definitely be back. Great deal for two slices and a drink for only 7 bucks, that can’t be beat
My wife and I decided to go to our old stand-by Italian restaurant for dinner. We hadn’t been in many years but never had an unpleasant visit in well over 20 years and this visit didn’t disappoint. We split a Greek salad and an order of eggplant parmigiana w/spaghetti. We then shared a slice of pumpkin cheesecake. It was an incredibly delicious meal with excellent service. The whole dining experience couldn’t be better! Thank you Angelina’s!
Best pizzeria in Deland, always awesome! Service is top notch, food is delicious and there's always a line for take-out. Locally owned and family operated.
Well first I have to say the atmosphere is great. The food is excellent. My wife loves their meatballs. But I can’t stop raving about their Sicilian pizza. Absolutely excellent. Highly recommend, the best Sicilian pizza I’ve had so far in Florida. ????????????
I've reviewed Angelina's several times over the years, and they have gotten 5 stars.
I have to downgrade this time.
Service was really below par. It was a Monday evening around 6 pm, there were easily 4 or 5 empty tables the entire time. Our server needed to be reminded several times for several items, no utensils, and we had to remind her that our food had not come out. Once we did she literally went and grabbed our food.
We ordered chicken bites and fries for our lil one and the chicken was bland and way overcooked. The pizza, calzone and shells were great..but sadly, the service experience dampened the evening.
