Angelika Theatres and Café provided a truly unforgettable experience! I recently visited for the screening of Horizon Chapter One, and to top it all off, the legend himself, Kevin Costner, made a special appearance. It was such a unique and exciting event that made the night feel truly special.
The theatre itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere that adds to the charm. The seating is comfortable, and the sound and picture quality are excellent, making it an ideal place to enjoy any film.
The café is a wonderful touch, offering a great selection of snacks and beverages to elevate the movie experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and organized, ensuring everything ran smoothly for such a big night.
Angelika Theatres and Café is more than just a place to see a movie — it’s a destination for truly memorable cinematic experiences. I can’t wait to return for another visit!
Nice movie theater specialized in indie and foreign movies. We've been there on a Saturday's morning to watch The Boy and the Heron. It was a nice experience! Don't expect for comfortable seats and huge screen - if your looking for that, that's not the place for you. But atmosphere is cozy and comforting. Audience was quiet during the whole movie - which helps with the experience. But the noise from subway was quite distracting. Anyway, a good experience overall.
First time here and couldn’t help but notice how extremely friendly and helpful the staff is . It made such a difference in our experience . We will definitely be back soon .
Came here to attend The Last of Us immersive experience and the staff was amazing. Everyone was so nice, security was nice too and wished everyone fun. The only complaint I have and why I’m taking one star off is due to accessibility and seating. In regards to the seats, if you are let’s say over 250 pounds the seats will not be comfortable for you to sit in. If you are taller than 6 feet you will have no leg room as I standing at 5’9 had my knees touching the back of the chair in front of me the entire viewing. Accessibility wise, I believe it’s steps and steps only. The theater I was in was located on the lower level of the theater which was, from as far as I know, only accessible by stairs. When it comes to getting to other levels of the theater I’m not sure. To get inside of the theater it’s also stairs only. Overall I’m glad I had the opportunity to attend the early viewing of the last of us
Got a chance to see the Vitalik film world premiere here. Pretty cool watching a community crowd fund feature length film to life.
Watched the room, rerelease, so fun with the audience participation. Snack bar, coffee bar slapped. Would do again. Very clean. Nice staff.
This was my first ever independent film theater when I was in my 20s. It has been a few years since I've visited, but they still have friendly staff & it's always clean. The popcorn is good, too! ????
I recently visited the Angelica film center Cinema and had an outstanding experience! The theater is modern and clean, with comfortable reclining seats that made the movie-watching experience extremely enjoyable. The sound and picture quality were top-notch, making me feel fully immersed in the film.
