Best WLM Reviews

Friendly staff, clean theaters, clean bathrooms, relatively sleek and modern. If you join their free membership, tickets are half off on Tuesdays.
Note: The online food/beverage ordering system doesn't actually work--you'll pay and receive a confirmation, but the theater doesn't get notified of anything.
While this upscale movie theatre has a great selection of films both mainstream and more indie, it is horrifically overpriced with often rude staff members and confusing ticket policies. If you enjoy going to the movies on a regular basis, look somewhere else because you’ll have spent the equivalent of a down payment on a house if you keep going to Angelika’s. Despite nice comfy theaters, it has a cold corporate feel. I’ve had some fun times at Angelika’s in the past, but cannot in good faith recommend this theater to others due to the high prices and poor service. Save your money and go somewhere more fun!!!
I went to Angelika for the first time in many years this weekend and was sorely disappointed. I reserved my tickets online which was easy enough, and was excited to get some yummy snacks after looking at their menu online! When I arrived, the menu was the same but the prices were much more expensive, leading me to believe their listing online is super out-dated. Additionally, the service so so slow that I (and many others) missed the first few minutes of our showing. I placed my order 15min before the showtime and did receive it 10min *after* the showtime--25min for nachos which were literally just chips with cheese sauce on the side (see my picture in comparison to other reviews, very disappointing). Seats weren't the nice, new recliners that most theaters have now so that was also a con. For a theater that brands itself as being a dining experience, this was definitely a no-go.
I have enjoyed going to this theater for several years. More independent and foreign language films tend to be shown here which provide a welcome variety from what major chains show. Early viewing and matinee prices to be largely competitive with other theater brands. Self service kiosks function as expected without much trouble, although I do find having to purchase tickets one movie at a time when seeing more than one the same day just a bit inconvenient. I do like the lean staff model employed here, leaving people to attend to appreciated services like concessions and cleaning rather than menial ones such as selling and taking tickets.
The location uses two floors for its eating and viewing areas with adjacent and nearby restaurants for pre- or post-meal meals plentiful. The sound in the various auditoriums delivers well. Seats tend to be softer and easy to lean back without fully reclining. The floors appear to have chipped paint in a number of locations from wear and overdue maintenance I suspect. Overall though a pleasing look and feel has been preserved over the years. I look forward to coming here in the future for those independent and foreign language films of interest to me and those like me.
Great theater. Senior and other discounts, depending on your eligibility. Varied and a bit pricey menu. Friendly staff. Getting fancy food can't take most of the length of a feature film to have cooked. But! All in all, it was a good experience.
We have been coming here for several years to watch artsy and independent movies that no other movie theaters in the area show. We appreciate the size of the movie theater and the clean, comfortable seating. However, the food sold inside the premises is overpriced.
Great place! Just saw Transformers and the sound quality was excellent! The theater was clean and the screen was nice and large! The seats weee soft and there was snacks that were not typical of most AMC and Regal theaters. Definitely a place to go if you don’t mind spending a little extra cash. Lots of dining and shopping here in the Mosaic District.
A real gem, with abundant free parking. Back row in the theater was freezing.
