Best WLM Reviews
I would not come back here!! I asked for corona Rita and I got corona slushy?? ???? . The dipping salsa was so watery and when I asked the server, she said that’s all they had!! We ended up asking for bean dip.
The food was a good portion was the meat was tasting so terrible ????????.
Everyone we asked the server anything she said” let me ask” and she would repeat and say “ I don’t know how it’s called in English “
We ended up paying and going somewhere else. Definitely ???? don’t recommend
Husband didn't care for it. But I enjoy the seafood chimichanga, it's delicious. Serving on chicken Pollos are so small. Spicy salsa beware! If you don't eat spicy. Service is attentive. This place becomes a live karaoke with disco lights after certain time in the evening. Crowd is too loud, and it's very disruptive. We won't come back but I'm glad we have it a shot!
Decent food. Atmosphere is a little loud but that’s to be expected. I had the nachos.
Considering how Federal Way has in general a pretty terrible food scene, I was really grateful to find this cute and authentic Mexican restaurant. It reminds me of Mexican restaurants I used to go to when I was a kid, a traditional, Mexican, American atmosphere. The food that I had was good, I am a vegetarian, and I had the tostada. My husband had a chicken burrito and he liked his as well. The chips and salsa were up to my standards, which is a must as this is a steeple of a decent Mexican restaurant. We went in for lunch, and the place was pretty empty, I am not sure what it is like for dinner, but I plan on trying it out. I will definitely go back, and was really happy to find this much better than average Mexican restaurant in Federal Way since there are not very many decent options here.
Overall, a fantastic meal with great ambiance and even better service. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic Mexican food! I’ll definitely be back soon.
I really wanted to give them 4 stars but...
Getting food poisoning from the chicken will always land a restaurant on 1 star.
Our first visit last week was fine. My kids ordered a quesadilla and burrito from the kids menus while I had the 2 entree combination, a tamale and enchilada. All was well, we even had a dessert to leave full and happy.
This last visit honestly felt about the same, we ordered a steak quesadilla and chicken verde enchilada, which left us full and happy again... until hours later when the food poisoning from the chicken kicked in.
I hate giving bad reviews, so what I would say is, it seems like everything else was good, just be weary of the chicken.
Service: The service was fine. Both visits, the servers were very helpful and made sure to check on us periodically.
Atmosphere: The design is set up to enhance the bar experience, so the lighting was dim, and the TVs were all playing various sports channels.
The booths were comfortable and the tables were clean and neat.
Food: I wish that I could give them another chance, but after my experience (see above) I don't foresee myself returning anytime soon.
Iordered dinner using Uber Eats, the meal was quick but I was disappointed when only half of my order showed; I had just contacted the driver when I recieved a text a gentleman from the restaurant brought the rest of my order the driver accidentally left. The Food was amazing every bite delicious but I most impressed at how their staff went above and beyond for a customer. I will definitely go in and eat as well as order from one of the many delivery services they use. Uber eats, grubhub, instacart, etc.
Great job! I will be stopping in tomorrow with a cash tip for the gentleman who went out of his way thank you for amazing exceptional service way to go I would vote you guys in as top 10 restaurants in Federal way and King County! Thank you. :) From A Satisfied Happy customer!
I’m happy they are open late. But when all you want to do is eat a good meal in peace. Friday night karaoke is way too loud to have the restaurant open. They either need a divider or sound diffuser to keep areas separated. It made our late night fill up at Angelica’s unbearable.
