Small restaurant with limited seating. But worth the wait. Menudo is with pig feet. I prefer beef, but it was still excellent with the home made flour tortillas!
Food is good the owner is rude n I disagree with the fees on the Togo tea cup. Tea comes with lunch but if u get it on a to go cup they consider the tea not free with lunch special but a full price charge n cup charge. Restroom smells so never use it.
Go for the food not for the atmosphere. That being said, it’s not dingy or dirty, just limited space and tables, get there before the crowd because workers or anyone who knows good Tex-Mex food will surely be there before you. Closed Mondays, they offer good down home Tex-Mex food and have daily lunch specials with tea included.
Went to eat here and the food is decent. So this review is based on the business nickel and diming people. I understand there's an up charge for food like avocados or extra cheese etc... BUT when you're going to charge people .50 cents to keep a tortilla on the grill a few extra seconds to make your tacos a little bit better that just blows my mind! If you're going to charge me .50 cents to keep the tortilla on the grill for 5 seconds longer why don't you discount off the cooks that were just standing there? To top it off the place was empty! Terrible
Place was super busy. I had a hard time finding parking (approx 15-18 spots) So I took this as a good sign as the food must be good. I ordered food inside. There was very little wait. I used the restrooms to wash up after I ordered. By the time I came out my food was ready. Very fast service And my suspicions were confirmed. The food was great. Cashier was polite and friendly with an infectious smile. I will definitely visit again when I'm in San Antonio
Coming from a man who is critical of my own food I prepare as far as authentic Mexican food. Angelicas is as authentic as I've had outside of my own home
Love the tacos, haven't tried much else but I recommend for sure????
Very good food and top of the line service. It's small inside, but great food at heart.
