We had a great experience for Thanksgiving dinner here. The only thing that left the sour taste in our mouth was the mandatory 23% service charge. Bill for Two people came out to be more than $400. Although we got a glass of red wine. I don't think the dinner was worth $400 but cost aside The tasting course service was very quick and delicious at least mine was my partner. Didn't enjoy his food as much as I did. They seated us 45 minutes before our reservation which we appreciated. Good service at the bar.
Unbelievable service and food quality. Truly inspirational.
We own a restaurant and winery in South Carolina and have watched the service quality diminish on each trip we take to California. This place gives us hope, and also inspiration. From the incredible food, beautiful atmosphere, and impeccable service, we were blown away. We will come here to take notes on how to run our business better in the future. These guys are truly 5 stars!
Beautiful way to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We were in a quiet backroom with one other couple. Our service was excellent, they clear the dishes and give new utensils after every course. The food was to die for. Absolute perfection. Soft bread to start. Escargot is a must try here and the beef bourguignon was so tender. The pommes puree so smooth and cheesy. And the butterscotch bread pudding perfect ending to a perfect meal. They also treated us with two glasses of champagne or was so sweet.
Beautiful setting by the river. Service was good and food was ok. Brussels sprouts and Beef tartare were a highlight, escargot, rigatoni and steak frites were not fantastic.
What an amazing dinner to be had here. With an extensive wine list you'd come to expect in the Napa Valley to the creative cocktails to the Californian cuisine - there is not a box this gem of an establishment doesn't check! The service is extraordinary. The roast chicken was a popular dish at the table - but it's definitely big enough to share. Make sure and try the Beef Tartar and my favorite was most definitely the Risotto!
I recommend coming early. The place filled up quickly on Friday night. We dined outside and there were a few tables with their dogs. Everyone was well behaved. The weather was perfect. Our server was amazing. He recommended the best cocktails and wine to pair with our meal. The oysters were cold and tender and gone so quickly! My beef bourguignon was so flavorful and the meat so tender. My husband loved his steak and the half head of garlic was perfect. Dessert was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal on a perfect night in Napa.
Loved this place! I have yet to find anything better anywhere in Napa. The risotto was cooked to perfection and the fried artichoke hearts were amazing! I grew up eating artichokes so that says a lot. Make sure to leave room for their bread putting. Can't wait to go back!
We had a lovely lunch here while visiting Napa Valley on 10/19/24. Indoor seating was cool and quiet, which was an appreciated escape from the heat outside. Our wine was one of the best Cabernet Sauvignon I have had, highly recommend the Facets bottle. The salad was light and just what I wanted. The steak frites was also yummy, albeit a larger piece of steak would have been great. My only caveat was the lunch was served SO fast. Within 5 minutes of ordering wine and lunch, the food was out. Would have loved to have the wine and bread to enjoy a bit before the lunch came out. Also, the butter would have been SO much better with a little sea salt on it, but that’s just extra :) Would absolutely come back again.
