The atmosphere is very nice with a golf course view. Our server was obviously new, but did an adequate job. We ordered the fried calamari 4/5 (artichokes best part), fish and chips 4/5, meatloaf 3/5, and salmon 3.5/5.
Wonderful atmosphere with lake and golf course views. I had the Classic Burger with German potato salad on the side. It was delicious. They supply you with ketchup mustard and even a little mayo to put on if you want (which I normally would) but it was so delicious and perfectly cooked that didn't need to add anything to it. There's a secret sauce they put on there that is just right. I'll be back! :-)
Went here with my wife for our anniversary and I am disappointed both in the quality of the service by Christina (patio waitress) and the food provided. Ordered the calamari which was tiny than I've ever seen, and my GRAND burger was missing the bacon, tomato and lettuce. I didn't realize it until I thought about it later. Our waitress as mentioned above seemed disinterested in her job and it showed greatly. Normally everything is very good; but I guess at 6:00 PM on a busy Thursday night you can't expect consistency.
Finally found a place I'm certain guests will enjoy. Went twice and will always choose Angela's Kitchen as my place of certainty for excellent food, interesting menu, good prices, fantastic attentive service, with outside eating providing a pleasant atmosphere. If you have not tried Angela's Kitchen and find frustration with the options in Surprise, AZ; I assure you Angela's Kitchen will cure your frustration and you also will be confident to bring your guests.
I chose this spot because I wanted an adult beverage and water views. It did not disappoint. .. especially on a beautiful bright sunny February day. I had already read reviews of service being slower so I went in expecting it, but I heard some other patrons complain. My server was very nice and was definitely having to work a large section herself. Being by myself I say in the bar side and chose the patio so I could see the greenery and water and listen to the golfers tee off. It was a perfect location to relax and read. The covered patio on the restaurant side is big and spacious with lovely views. I plan to return and sit on that side next time.
Arrived for early dinner on a Tuesday night. Seated promptly. Waitress immediately came to take our drink orders. We were not yet ready to order, she told us to put the menus together at one end of the table when we are ready and that way she would know when to come back.????????
This worked out perfectly. I ordered the fried fish and my husband ordered the steak. I had also ordered a side salad, which I received immediately. On a sidenote, our server noticed my interest in a different type of salad dressing when our other dinner guest had ordered a salad. She took it upon herself to bring me a side of that salad dressing plus the salad dressing that I had ordered. She is very observant.????
We received our entrées shortly after we finished our salad. I must say I am very very impressed on the size of the service that this restaurant delivers. My husband’s steak was humongous and he could not finish it in one sitting. ( one complaint: baked potato was not quite cooked. It was hard. He didn’t eat it at all) Thank goodness because it was huge. I ordered the fried fish and asked for it to be extra crispy. It was perfection. To my surprise even the french fries were hot.????????.
Although we live in a community with a golf, course and restaurant, I will definitely be returning here. Our restaurant does not compare to this one. ????

Great place! Never disappointed! Service is excellent! Vodka Martinis are FULL (take note Babbo’s). Waitstaff is personal and gracious! Food is really good and never had anything I didn’t like from anywhere on the menu!
Angela's kitchen has tasty food with beautiful views.
Since it was in the 80s this weekend, we decided to eat on the patio to enjoy the outdoors and lovely golf course views. We ordered French Onion Soup as an appetizer and unfortunately it came out with with our meals. Thank goodness it came out with the meal because the meatloaf was slightly over seasoned with tarragon and my friend didn't care for that seasoning so at least he enjoyed the soup. (I have enjoyed the meatloaf in the past).
My mom ordered the Beef Stroganoff and truly enjoyed the meat, noodles and sauce.
I ordered the Shrimp Oreganata which was served mushroom rissoto and vegetables. Very tasty!
