When we came they were super busy. Took a minute to get seated but the staff was very nice. The food was not that hood this time. My beans tasted like there was mint in them, tge rice was not fully cooked and a bit crunchy. My wife did not really like hers either. We have Bern here before and it was good so maybe this was just an off night. It was not so bad that we wouldn't return there were 3 adults and a child and our bill was $63 after tip. It wasn't $63 dollars good.
Well this was my second time eaten their. The first time was a take out, due to Covid 19. This time was a sit in. The staff are very friendly, the place very clean and spacious. For those who donot like spicy food, you can still enjoy the food. Now,the food is on..you will ???? Enjoy..
Best in Sumter. Service is great, staff remembers you and greets you like a friend. Salsa is great and the carnitas are *chef kiss*
I went and sat at the bar which I do this every time I go. Sat and waited 10 min before someone came took my order. Then it came out in a to go box even though I’m sitting at the bar. The fried shrimp chimichanga was not presented with the texture of something that was fried. The chimichanga was soft as of it was baked not fried. I requested another, fried crispy. After eating when I got ready to pay I was charged 5$ for the meal they took back and I didn’t eat.
Most authentic Mexican food I've had since I moved from Tucson AZ! Service was friendly and fast. Starting from the chips and salsa that was handed out, I knew I was in for a treat. Nothing was bland, nor overseasoned. Everything tasted fresh and had beautiful presentation. Definitely recommended anyone to check it out if they love Mexican cuisine!
I've eaten here a few times and it was ok. This time for the first time I ordered online and all I can say is don't do it! They tax 2x. Online it shows total with tax but when you pay in store (only option) they add tax to the total that you had online with tax. Next I get home (2 mins max ) home and open my container and my taco salad is sitting in water and not a little to make the bottom soggy. After I pour it out and try to eat it still I realize my meat has almost no taste... like they rinsed the cooked meat and kinda griddy.
One of the waitresses could have been a little bit friendlier however it was a pretty good turnout we had our mothers 66 birthday there and it was well accommodated
Pretty good Mexican restaurant. The waitress we had this time was rude, acted like we were bothering her, and would not tend to our table. She would bring out what we had requested like a drink but before she would bring it to us she would stop by all of her other tables and wait on them before dropping it off with us. She should have just dropped it off at our table before she attended to the other tables. Not very hygienic to take our food or drink to other tables before bringing it to us.
