Best WLM Reviews
This place is great!! Oldest diner in Florida and it doesn’t disappoint.
We started with their famous onion rings. So hot and delicious. You can tell they are hand battered.
Jess had the patty melt and I had the Goliath burger. Both were amazing and the burger was
huge! We ended sharing the last piece of sweet potato pie. Yum. Super cute decor, but old style. Service was excellent.
My boyfriend and I stopped by the other night for a sweet treat. Hannah was super sweet and took our order. The shakes are rich, creamy, and delicious. The cheese sticks had a pretty good cheese pull too. I’ve been here before, but my boyfriend thought it was a pretty cool place. We’ll definitely be back.
Diner inside a train car with 50's decor. The food was good. My dining partner ordered a club and onion rings. The onion rings smelled great and appeared to be hand battered.Angel's does serve fish and seafood so because of my seafood allergy my partner ask if they cross fry. The server simply stared and had no idea what it meant. Since all the sides are fried I was limited for safety and selected a burger. The burger was awesome flavor and juicy. I was off put by the server's loud conversation that, " I am not a people person, but I am a server." If you guessed it wasn't great service from her your correct. The attitude she displayed the entire time was unprofessional and we were trying Angel's for the first time which caused the chance for me going back to plumet.
Very nostalgic, historic dining car. A popular stop along the road. The cheeseburger and fries were better than average and arguably the best in the County. The cheeseburger was a quarter pound, handmade patty. A must try restaurant if you happen by.
I've been here a few times over many years, this was the first time I had fish and chips it was actually fish and fried mushrooms and it was excellent.(for fried food) Fresh, tangy and Delicious
Classic American diner and greasy spoon.
My 10yr old son got the Samson burger (1/2 lb) and finished it. Loved it!
I had the flounder sandwich which was delightful, also a side salad.
My friend had a salad and a burger.
Fare is simple but great atmosphere and friendly, quick waitstaff. Places like this are a dying breed. Worth the stop if you are going through Palatka.
Still the best onion rings in the USA
When you sit at the counter, notice the foot holder….. it’s a galvanized pipe from the 1930s that from a million of people sitting at the counter over the past 80 years it has worn the metal pipe in half.
Really cool little place. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, but did seem to take a while. Onion rings are probably the best I've ever had!
