If you’re passing through the Minneapolis Airport, make sure to stop by Angel Food Bakery (E gates) —you won’t regret it! Their donuts are not just eye-catching but absolutely delicious. I tried the Peppermint Chocolate Donut, and it was perfection. The chocolate glaze was rich and indulgent, while the donut itself was light and fluffy with just the right texture and sprinkle of peppermint. Joe went with the Maple and Chocolate Donut, which was a dreamy combination of sweet maple and smooth chocolate.
The real standout? The actual donut itself—it tastes as amazing as it looks. You can tell these donuts are made with care and high-quality ingredients. Angel Food Bakery definitely lives up to the hype, and I only wish we had more time to try their other offerings.
This spot is a must for anyone traveling through MSP. Highly recommend! 5/5 stars!
I wasn’t expecting to fly today, but a family emergency led to a last-minute flight, and I found myself at MSP this morning. I didn’t have much of an appetite, but I thought I should try to eat something. Angel Food Bakery felt like a quick and delicious option. I was warmly greeted, and the customer service was kind and communicative. I ordered a Greek-style scone, curry puff, and blueberry donut. I appreciated their vegetarian breakfast options and that they thoroughly warmed the two breakfast items. Each item was soft, fresh, and satisfying. I forgot my stress for a brief moment, and I’m grateful to them of that. Thank you.
The donuts are puffy but still a little dense, if that makes sense. It’s a style I really enjoy! I also appreciate the fact they offered honey packets for the coffee.
These donuts were amazing! So many options including bacon donut (personally no thanks). So much to choose from.
Service was wonderful and you can even sit down at the counter as you enjoy your treat!
This place is so cute! In terminal 1 of the MSP Airport, I expect the higher prices for the food. I got a breakfast sandwich with sausage. The biscuit was perfect-at least to my preference-crispy on the outside, but not too messy to eat as it did not crumble. The dark roast coffee is pretty good-maybe a little too dark. They only have 2 coffee choices-both hot. A light and a dark roast. I would have liked an iced version because this airport is hot. The donuts and other baked goodies looked so yummy. But what tops it off for me was the cheerful employee who was taking orders. Not everyone is that cheerful at 4 in the morning-so I really appreciated his positive, friendly attitude. They do have a cooler with other options like water bottles, canned nitro coffee, sandwiches, and more. I'd recommend trying this place out!

I liked that there were lots of donut options and they are made fresh. I got the maple bacon. the icing and bacon were great combo. however the donut pastry itself was not my favorite I’ve had, it was a bit too dense for the type of donut. Staff was fantastic, went above and beyond.
Went in blind on the curry-flower puff (no reviews of it and the description sounded iffy) but it paid off - it is gooood! Flavorful, balanced filling with a bit of heat in a yummy flaky shell. Wish it was warmed up a bit more, but NBD. Got a few donuts and enjoyed them too. Glad I chose this place.
