Best WLM Reviews

Nice restaurant. I had the Seafood and Rice platter, cheese dip, sampler appetizer, and street Taco's. Everything taste pretty good though I have had better. Cheese dip had some spice to it. Chips and salsa was good. The Mahi and shrimp platter was good but lacked flavor. The rice was a bit overcooked, and the beans had zero flavor. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice and clean.
Pain Killer Margarita was excellent.
The Street Corn was good but temperature could've been little hotter.
The chips should been a little warmer. The salsa is a sauce more than a chunky salsa.
I initially ordered the Shrimp Soup sent it back because the spice level was unbearable so I ordered the Shrimp Legendary Pasta Mixed with Chicken. This dish was delicious still hot spicy but I was able to enjoy. I was charged $20.00 for Legendary Pasta and extra $3.00 for Shrimp. Why is that because on the menu doesn't say extra charge for Mixed or Substitution.
Customers make sure you know their spice level is high there.
The food was bad and the service was terrible. We should have just turned around when the host wasn’t pleasant, but we wanted to give it a try. Our waitress needed to be reminded about coke, never checked in, no refills and continually waited on other tables near us while ignoring us. We had our card on the table read to pay for a significant amount of time. It eventually got to the point where we had to call her over, she responded with “yes?” We were obviously done with our meals and ready for the check.
I ordered the appetizer platter. The shrimp were fine, calamari was much more fishy than I have had at other places, but the mango wings were absolutely terrible. Intensely spicy to the point where my gums still feel swollen and I like spicy food.
Definitely the worst meals & service in all the restaurants in Olathe we have been to.
Lots of parking, location has convenient access to interstate, excellent outdoor seating area. It looks very nice inside and I found the seats to be comfortable. We didn't utilize the outdoor area so I cannot give you a review of how comfortable those seats are. The food was pretty good.
We weren't terribly impressed with the customer service. One of the people in our party has some health issues and is very sensitive to spicy foods. She ordered something that the waitress said wasn't spicy. When it arrived, she took 1 bite and found it to be too spicy for her. She communicated this to the waitress and she went went to get a manager. The manager decided to argue with us over whether or not that dish is considered spicy. She could've just asked what the problem was, apologized, and then gotten us a menu, simple and quick. Eventually, that's what happened. But I don't know what the manager was going through or what kind of stress she was under. For all the things we liked about this place, they're now tainted by this unnecessarily difficult interaction.
The drinks were excellent. Their house tequila was good by itself. My Verde burrito was delicious. My chile relleno was also very good.
My husband and I went for a late dinner. Once we were seated with menus, we were brought chips n salsa. No napkins or silverware on the table. Our waitress came over, asked what we would like to drink, just ice water please. Took our food order, them returned with our water. After a bit, our food arrived with a different person delivering it, he started to walk away and I had to ask for silverware.. he brought it immediately. Our waitress showed up to see how things were, if it looked good then left. She walked by twice while we were eating, asking how things tasted but really did not stop.. felt more like a fly by without real care. Eventually she brought our check, didnt ask if we wanted more water or even if we wanted desert, but told us no rush. It almost felt like a thanks for coming now leave. I am glad we had actually finished eating, because a young man threw up as his mom was trying to rush him to the bathroom. No one even attempted to clean it up or even cover it up, wait staff looked at it and made sure not to step in. Overall the only thing that can be said, food was delicious and worth the visit. Would have liked a lil more light to truly see my food and staff that made you feel important and actually welcomed throughout your time there, not just when you first arrive. Might give the place a second try eventually, as we try not to go by just a first visit.
Love coming to Anejo! The food is delicious and Sarah is awesome! She’s kind, always had a smile on her face, and keeps my drinks and chips filled!
I highly recommend the restaurant and make sure you ask for Sarah.
The food was excellent and the drinks [what we primarily came for :)] were even better! A bit on the pricey side, which was expected.
Our server (I hate that I can’t remember her name) was really attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Loved the romantic ambiance and atmosphere for the perfect date night- we will be back!!
It was a pretty good experience. My food tasted excellent. It was, however, the smallest chimichanga I have ever seen. I ordered it off the specialties list, while the other guys I was with ordered from their lunch menu. They got more food for less money. It was very good, though.
