Decent prices for some good sized helpings. Concrete mixers were 10/10

I visit every week the stuff are good. Best ice cream to get in town
I got a Stolen Brownie Sundae. By the time I got it almost all of the ice cream was already melted. I wasn't expecting a piping hot brownie that would melt all of the custard. It was only made worse that they don't have indoor seating and the sun was shining right on the sundae. I would only suggest going if it's nice outside, not if you want a frozen treat to cool down on a warm day. Their recipe is also on the sweeter end and when mixed with various sweet toppings and melted together, becomes almost too sweet to eat the entire serving.
It's kind of a joke here anymore. I got a StrawAnna the other day and they actually handed it to me with black bananas, right on top. Showed no concern for giving me something like that. I pulled back around and asked if they could just make me a almond concrete (vanilla w almonds). The lady said she would give me a large for my trouble. This is typical. All ice cream and very little of the additions. What is there is usually at the bottom because they won't take the time to mix it anymore. If it was what it used to be, I would go back, but it's not. If you want better, go to the one on Nall. They mix it good. Their mix ins are much more fresh and they actually take the time to mix it. Much better product there. And theirs tastes like custard. Thick and rich and creamy. This location on Metcalf is much thinner consistency and more like ice cream in texture and taste. They just don't take the time. Mix ins can be hard as a rock here too. Again, they don't take the time the other location does.
Andy’s Frozen Custard is a must-visit! It’s so smooth and creamy; it’s that perfect balance between just ice cream and pure indulgence. Whether you’re grabbing a simple cone or one of their awesome concretes, every bite is packed with flavor. They’re super fast, too, even when it’s packed, which is often since it’s that good! For sure, try any of the seasonal flavors they have going on; they never disappoint. Honestly, it’s just the perfect spot when you need a sweet fix!
Excellent custard. We had a medium triple chocolate for wifey, and I had a medium chocolate. Both very good.
Had a rough day on the road, just needed a little pick me up, and the manager Andrew did just that. Greatly appreciated your service and not ashamed to say I’ll be back to crush some custard!
