I live right by the location so I’m here very often! Love Andy’s! But get so nervous every time I order because often I have to double check. Like today in the drive through line, I didn’t get the strawberries in my James brownie I was charged for, but I was distracted since my one scoop in a cup came out in a cone. If you have multiple orders, it’s likely one won’t be correct. In my case 2 out of 3 weren’t correct and the 3rd seemed like it wasn’t filed all the way. I think someone else’s brownie order was given to me since it was so melted by the time I got it. I’d probably go to the colony location next. I feel their seating and space is a bit bigger and less wrong orders. :(
Frozen custard is the best on a hot day just like this one. We rolled in 16 deep and no one knew what they wanted and after we started shouting out our orders the staff was impressively responsive in turning around our order. We had our order in no time. Very clean, friendly, and helpful.
My family had been there several times and they loved it. It was my first time going and not having them bring me something back. I was unsure what to get; however, I knew kind of what I wanted. I described it to the person at the counter. Who was a extremely patient by the way. He asked me one or two other questions about how I wanted it made and simply said, "Not a problem at all. " A few minutes later I had exactly what I wanted, exactly how I described it and absolutely no difficulties whatsoever! I will definitely be coming back here for more!
Usually the service is pretty good, but today it wasn't. The girl at the drive thru was rushing through my order even though there was no rush and got my order wrong. She didn't repeat my order to make sure it was correct. I got a small smores when I wanted an stolen brownie sundae. The smores just taste bad. It tastes like it wasn't properly mixed and looks like it too.
One of the best frozen custard shops in this area. There is always a line because of how good the custard taste. So many options. A small is a basically a full cup and I have yet to finish a full cup. Love all the different flavors and my kids enjoy coming here. This location has a walk up and drive thru service.
I keep going back expecting different results. The rudest staff. Girl working at register 5/8/24 with glasses was unhelpful. I get it, you don’t get paid enough, but geez I’m not asking for white glove service here, just need my order done right. I asked for triple Oreo, and my Oreo lovers understand when you order a lot of Oreo and pay for it you expect a lot. But no it did not have enough Oreo. If you don’t believe me, check the tapes (pic). Gave me same as a single serving, I would know I’ve ordered single before. Cashier was just like “if you want more you have to pay for it” GIRLI I ALREADY PAID FOR TRIPLE!!! They didn’t fix my order btw. Anyways, lesson finally learned. Never going back.
I love Andy’s but I’ve come to realize that when they’re busy it’s best to stay away. This was the second time in a row that we got melted custard. The first time was an ice cream cone that we tried to contact them about and got no response. This time they gave us essentially a cup of soup. Again, I like their custard but the service has been miss lately. Which happens but then there’s no customer service to fix the issue.
Drive-thru line was incredibly quick. Portions for the price are quite generous. The root beer float could have had a little bit more ice cream in it, but other than that the quality was pretty good. I've been to Andy's custard several times and this location lives up to the franchise's reputation. Recommended!
