Great place for a cold dessert! Highly recommend! The only thing I would say is, my dirt cup was more like an Oreo cup. That being said, I’m particular to traditions. Dirt cups have grounded, not whole or broken in halves Oreos, hence, the ‘dirt’ in the dirt cup. It’s still an awesome place though.
I got butter pecan concrete. The ice cream was delicious, but way too sweet. It was also partially melted and I had to eat it outside. Affordable at least
We always love coming here when the strawberry shortcake sundae is in season. Staff is prompt and preps your food quickly, they're friendly enoigh...
They forgot to heat the shortcake on one of our orders, so if you're particular about how you want it prepared, you may need to remind them.
I noticed the drive through would always be queued so one day I decided to join the line to see what was up. Yes! Delicious. Get their concretes! Rich and flavorful, you will really enjoy your purchase. My personal favorites are the Boot Daddy and Jackhammer. You could try their other offerings or make your own. Check out their specials (like the Texas Two Step) as you may find a perfect combo for your taste buds. If first time, go with the small! (The small is pretty large). I feel Andy's is just at the right price point for non-standard ice cream type dessert. There are a lot of overpriced similar businesses being set up around the area. Andy's is my favorite. Although I always do drive-through, there is (limited outdoor) seating. When the queue gets long, they send an employee to take your order in advance. If you're in the area, you must try it out!
Waffle Cone Sunday was not a good choice, asked for a drizzle of hot fudge after a few bites to give is some taste, Asst GM Luke was NOT budging, Nope. I'll have to charge you.... if you don't like I will.charge you for something else. I let them throw it away, it tasted nasty anyway. Thanks for the superior service pal! Too many overpriced ice cream shops around to provide toughguy service that that!
Service was decent.
The ice cream was melted upon reception.
We paid $19 for a banana split and a medium frosty.
Nothing was special. Definitely not worth the price.
The convenience of the location may offer another visit in the future... but it's not anything I plan on.
7/29/2024:
We ordered two separate kids single scoops and asked the guy to repeat the order. He was busy mumbling to himself. When asked again to repeat the order, he said “oh, I was just talking to myself”. He repeated the order which we had to correct since he had those two scoops in one cup. We repeated the order and went on to pay for it. When at the window, after paying, we received one cup with vanilla and chocolate scoops mixed and Oreo on the side. I asked the guy what was that and instead of asking about the situation or trying to resolve it, he abruptly said “excuse me” and moved away and sent a lady who I can only guess was the manager or team lead.
I told her what happened and she said, not to worry about the charge as it t would be voided as she gave us the correct items. To my surprise when I checked my statement, I’m charged for the wrong and the additional items. So much for transparency and customer experience.
If your employees in this age are so distracted to not be able to take a simple ice cream order, then I really feel for their future.
Quick Service, The Best Drive Thru Frozen Custard Ice Cream. My favorite is Bootdaddy and Butter Pecan it made fresh hourly. Not to sweet but taste is so yummy. Love it so much
