Took my wife here for Mother's day. Excellent food as always. My wife had the veal which was very flavorful. I had the osso buco which was large and very tender. I also had a glass of Bolla chianti which I really liked.
This is a hidden gem of New Orleans!! The food was AMAZING, the weight staff was top notch! We went here instead of eating in the French Quarter we’re we where staying and couldn’t have been happier! If you want real Italian Food made by a True Chef this is your place!
Tonight was my first experience at Andrea's, and I left supremely impressed by the quality of the food. First, our maitre D, Jose, checked up on us twice during the course of the meal. Our waitress, Amber, was helpful with food suggestions. My date and I had the fried calamari appetizers. They were the best I've had in recent memory; they were not chewy at all and the sauce really set off the calamari flavor. After the appetizer, Chef sent a bruschetta free of charge. It was a highlight of the evening, mainly because the garlic was SO fresh! It was around this time that the Chef himself came out to check on us and our meal. He was cordial and took an interest in our feelings on the meal. For our main course we decided on their 3 plates with a glass of wine for $33. We ate the salmon pasta with vodka sauce. The caviar on that dish was a great salty addition. The crabmeat ravioli was possibly my favorite; the crab meat was slightly spicy, which contrasted well with the creamy sauce. My least favorite was the lamb chop lollipops. I normally love lamb, and they were good, but they just didn't do it for me. Finally we enjoyed a tiramisu and espresso martini. The tiramisu didn't have as much of a coffee flavor as I typically like, but the espresso martini was just about perfect in its proportions.
Overall, if you want a classy, low-key, delicious Italian restaurant, Andrea's is your place!
We had dinner here at 2021 NY Eve. I ordered lamb chop and my hubby had pork shank osso buco. They were terrific. The waiter was nice and we had an enjoyable meal. It would be nice if they serve some bread with oil & vinegar, why wouldn't they do that as in other Italian restaurants?
Such a clean wonderful experience. It's a little crammed but it works and the atmosphere is busy and still attentive. The food was delicious just wish I had a little more lol but that works too. Get ready to spend but it's fine dining so don't expect anything less. Overall it was enjoyable and I definitely recommend checking it out.
We had the best experience and it was our first time dining at Andrea’s. Ron was our server and he had some great recommendations (the calamari) and brought all the fun to the table. This was a great start to my birthday and the chocolate cake with raspberry was a phenomenal surprise. Thank you!!
Breakfast/Brunch at Andrea's is what Metairie needs! They not only do Italian food right, but they do breakfast and brunch right, too! So excited to try everything on the menu while I sip on my bottomless mimosas!!!!
Thank you Chef Andrea!
Christmas party with friends. We had a great time food was delicious, staff was very attentive and friendly. Chef Andre came to our table to talk about the menu and make sure we were having a good time. We'll definitely go back again.
