The food was pretty dry and flavorless. The salsa that came with the chips was invaluable as a flavor enhancer. And they are following the post COVID trend of seating you at a completely bare table. Salt, pepper, an extra napkin, how about some hot sauce? It is a Mexican restaurant after all! Nope! That's not something they think you need. The restaurant LOOKS cool! Too bad the food doesn't meet expectations.
Both my wife and I got sick within 45 minutes of being home. My wife was having sharp stomach pains and vomiting. I had an upset stomach and rolling pain in my abdomen. Pretty sure we got food poisoning of some sort. The only thing we both ate was the deliciosas appetizer. The service was okay and we really liked the atmosphere. Very family friendly and bright and colorful. This was her birthday dinner and we both paid for it twice, once with money and a second time once we got home. Something we both ate was not prepared right or cross contaminated.
Nice atmosphere and vibes ! I’ve been there many times. It depends on the food you order. Some items are acceptable others are not tasty and most of the food is fried. Friendly staff! We had chicken enchiladas, meat tacos, refried beans, Mexican rice and other items . They now started charging you for extra chips that you order.
Was greeted warmly by Staff and bartender upon entry. We were seated immediately in bar area at table for two. Set up server and bartender/waiter were very helpful and detail orientated. They checked in often, making inquiries to needs and food quality, but did not linger. Very nice dining experience. Single chili rellano was very flavorful and portion was perfect size for smaller appetites. Taco salad was nicely layered and fried tortilla "half bowl" kept the dish light and nicely proportioned.
What a pleasant surprise to find that excellent service still exists. It has been years since I’ve experienced this level of professionalism. Our server was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like valued customers. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced and our burrito, enchiladas, and tacos were delicious. Plenty of close parking, ample seating, the lunch crowd was in and out quickly, and we’ll definitely be returning.
The food is very flavorful, and portions are large. My favorite was the Tamale

The dining atmosphere is a facade of the ocean view from the Barrio streets. The food came out timely and delicious.
Juan Carlos, our waiter was excellent and funny. He was impressed that I ate the whole meal and joked that I should win a t-shirt.
Other patrons' meals looked so good that I was tempted to take pictures and review their's too.

Atmosphere was awesome! Food was pretty tasty. Service was lousy...had to ask for everything, so service was lacking, I couldn't even get a smile, and no substitutions. The worst was after paying $50 for two they only give you one salsa and chips. The salsa was so small and they charge for any additional. I love to pour on my meal sometimes and use chips to eat with my meal. Stupid to charge, little things like this make me not want to go back!
