Best WLM Reviews
Happened upon the Andover Diner heading home from a motorcycle ride. Plenty of parking and they sat us right away. Place was clean and the staff friendly.
I got the California Panini. The bread on the bottom was a little soggy on one half. The panini could've been pressed a little better but the chicken was juicy and the fries were delicious.
The couple I was with ordered a bacon cheeseburger and the lady was convinced by the waiter to try the special Mexican style quesadillas. The guy can usually eat 2-3 burgers but was stuffed after this one 1/2 pounder. The lady said they were the best quesadillas she ever had. There were 3 pieces and she could only finish one. She said the rice that came with it was just ehhh but the rest she enjoyed.
Total before tip was just under $61. Not terrible. If I'm in the area again I'm definitely coming back.
Wow!
We had the best Mexican food ever at a diner!
Not sure if its always available but they had a menu with Mexican food and it was all delicious ????
My son had a turkey rueben and was very happy with it keeping with a more traditional diner meal!
Excellent experience all around ????
Hello Foodies! I was out on my adventures in the town of Andover in NJ. We stopped by this small diner after a local gentleman that I met at the antique shop recommended the food. He was correct, the food was actually pretty good for just a diner! I don't expect delicious food from a diner, but at the most edible. However, this place had better than edible. I had the Cuban panini sandwich and the chicken rice soup. Very tasty and enough for me to take the other half home! I definitely recommend trying this place if you're in this part of town. They have a big parking lot. The only thing is we were sat by the entrance door, and it was pretty cold out, so we did feel that cold at our table. My friend couldn't really eat her food she had to put on her coat because she kept shaking, and her hands were freezing. I recommend getting a table closer to the back or away from the entrance if it's a cold day out. I also wanted to order a dessert, the brownie blast, but they said they didn't have it, and that made me sad. I have a terrible sweet tooth people! But everyone really liked their food. They all said they would return to this diner. Our waitress was also very nice and very attentive.
Such a great dinner experience. Lovely staff and wonderful food. Highly recommend.
It feels funny to say this but their water is delicious. It's cold and crisp. Our waitress was the only or it seemed like she was alone, but she was hustling. Every table was always being asked how is everything, waters always be filled, she was very attentive for having so many tables alone. I ordered the crispy burger, was very good but greasy. They fry The provolone cheese. Which I've read on the menu but I wasn't thinking like deep fried. Their fries though are absolutely delicious. My boyfriend got the Chicken wings with buffalo hot sauce and side fries. He very much enjoyed his dinner as well. Over all we have a great experience and will be back. We were there on Sunday 03/26/23 around 530pm, if the owners read this please let the waitress know she is a great job and being alone never once did she forget any of her tables. I wish I remember her name but hopefully the date and time will help who was working that shift.
Frist time eating here and it was delicious. We had breakfast and coffee and our waitress was so friendly..her name was Jessica. Everyone said hello when we walked in and the atmosphere was very nice with the music playing. And it was very clean...
Definitely will be going back!
Great diner with nice decor and vibe. I had lobster bisque soup and a cheeseburger with fries. Owner and staff are very friendly. Definitely glad I stopped here spontaneously for lunch.
So years ago I tried this diner...a couple of times. It was...disappointing to say the least. I mean, this is JERSEY. We are The Diner State. But it was such a letdown. UNTIL I saw the sign that this was under new ownership. I saw some good reviews and decided to try it with my kids. They had a bacon cheeseburger which was solid, and a chicken sandwich that was well enjoyed. Now I ordered from the Authentic Mexican Menu. No joke, they have that. I even asked the waiter if it was legit and he insisted it was. So I got a burrito and holy heck...it was better than nearly every Mexican restaurant I've been to. I was thoroughly impressed. The prices aren't the cheapest, but the quantities are huge and honestly the quality is SO much better now. Service was great and it's an adorable diner all in all. For dessert we got apple pie, a chocolate mousse cake, and another dessert. The apple pie was very good! The others were...well...diner desserts and were dry and rather uninspiring. That being said, this diner is a place you should try now. I look forward to going back!
