Been awhile. Been out of the country and still behind allot honestly.
We decided to try out Abdiamo Detroit. My SO thought this place had the melted Parmesan wheel for the pasta. But that wasn’t the case. We still decided to try out the menu for the first time.
First we had a very nice view of the water.
The food was excellent, the pasta creamy. And great drinks if not slightly slow service.
We ate here for a special occasion with the family. The restaurant is lovely, but our service was just okay and not what we expected for fine dining. The pasta e fagioli soup is incredible, and the gnocchi were delicious! Meatballs were a bit dry and burnt.
Grant was incredible in the detail in the ease of the menu. The best veal I’ve ever eaten in my entire life Mike the owner came after to make sure that everything was great. Just a truly incredible experience overlooking the river with friends. This is a must.
With this being our first experience here I went in with a positive outlook even though I have heard some negative things about the restaurant (not specifically this location). Our reservation was for 3:30 pm and we were sat immediately. Our waiter was very nice, attentive and honest about what paired well together and what didn't. We noticed right away that majority of the glasses that were at our table were dirty with mouth prints on them. Luckily the glasses that we used did not have them but I also asked for straws just in case. As far as the meal goes, the appetizers were delicious and our entrees were delicious. My only negative is the minestrone soup lacked flavor and the bean spread with the beef was extremely sour. Overall, our experience was decent however I am unsure if I would return.
Had a great meal, starting with the Shrimp Andiamo appetizer followed by the Veal Oscar. Generous amount of jumbo lump crab on the veal dish and the veal was perfectly cooked and very tender.
Service by Frankie was on-point. Very knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions. She is a true professional!

I recently attended a work trip in the GM RenCen and stayed a week. My coworkers and I visited Andiamo twice during our time there and we had pleasant experiences both times. I would highly recommend the scallop and beets dish but would skip the short ribs. The wait staff was kind and our waitress from our first visit stopped to say hello on our second trip. The desserts are absolutely delicious and you MUST save room for the creme brulee! Pricing was average for being in a hotel space.
Stopped here for a nice dinner when traveling! The food and atmosphere were fantastic! Seeing the Canadian skyline was just chefs kiss. The food was fresh and yummy! The drinks could be better but the service was great! Extra shoutout to THE sweetest hostess when you walk in (young w long dark hair) she was just SUCH a bright light after a long day???????? will deff be back!!
Excellent meal overall. My tortellini was amazing and Chicken Parm was fair. The salad came out with one cube of cucumber and a single cherry tomato. I said one word and he brought me out the entire garden. A bit tight on space, but it works out.
