Best WLM Reviews

It was my first time at the POST food hall and I walked around to see all of the options. Andes Cafe stood out to me as the most unique cuisine/ menu offered. The staff was nice enough to take my order even though it was near closing time. I ordered the steak and fries and passion fruit cheesecake. I am not much of a meat eater so it’s hard for me to say the steak was my favorite but I did enjoy the side salad and the bed of French fries. The French fries were fried to golden perfection and the salad was nicely assembled with thinly sliced onions and a chimichurri type of dressing. I would go back here again just to have another serving of their fries. I can do without the steak, even though it was still a pretty good addition. Would definitely pass on the passion fruit cheesecake. At $8 a piece I couldn’t help but feel, I was eating an overpriced piece of store bought cheesecake under the guise of supposedly “fancy” plating. I’ll still be open to trying this place out again. I’d be interested to explore their ceviche bar next time. And for sure get an order of fries.
A hidden gem in Post Houston - well worth the visit. A mix of different South American cuisines. The steak has been well seasoned and perfect tenderness every time we have ordered. Today I had the mixed ceviche and it was unique (with white corn and seaweed) but really one of the best ceviches I’ve had! The owner is super sweet - gave my son a few cookies which made his day.
This was a cute place to dine even though it was part of the overall food court. All the food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long for it.
A hidden gem at POST Houston. I only tried the mixed Ceviche but it blew my mind..
They had banners saying Houston’s best ceviche. And even with high expectations, this Ceviche is indeed one of the best ceviche’s I have tried in Houston. Be careful that it has a kick but that makes it extremely tasty and full of flavor
I was initially surprised by a $25 ceviche. But the quantity makes it a one person meal!
This spot is located in the POST. We tried the ceviche mixto. It took a little while for it to be ready. The seafood was quite tasty and tender. My least favorite part of the dish was the calamari - it wasn’t crispy, and I didn’t like the breading. Everything else was yummy. On the pricey side for the amount
Amazing spot for South American food. Delicious, just like home-cooked. The ceviche and the lomo saltado were 10/10. We met chef David, and told us his story. Will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommended.
I had the curry shrimp and added mahi mahi. It was satisfying to me. To me for the lightness and healthier lunch option the value was reasonable as well. The woman working at the register was nice as well. She recommended the soursop juice which complimented the meal nicely.
The food was just average at best and on the pricey side for the location and atmosphere. The chicken didn't have much flavor while the empanadas were decent. The food court/cafeteria setting just makes it hard to spend that much on food.
