Best WLM Reviews
If you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend for you to stop by and try this place out. Their burgers are super tasty and the onion rings and Cajun fries are amazing. Let’s not forget about the frozen desserts too. The banana split was delicious!
We love Anderson's frozen custard, and the food's good too. This location really has that feel of the drive-in ice cream place from summers long past (but the enclosures that go up in the fall make it so you can enjoy it year-round!). The staff is generally really good with custom orders, so you can get your favorite mix of flavors, whether it's a sundae, cone, or shake (or malted). With a mix of frozen custard flavors, Italian ice, and hard ice creams and frozen yogurts there are lots of possibilities available. And of course, there are frozen ice cream cakes and pints/quarts already packaged for take-home options.
One extra benefit to this location is that it's practically next to the Tonawanda Rails-to-Trails path, making it much nicer to visit without the car.
And just as a general note, you can check the special flavors of all the Anderson's locations on their website, in case there's a particular one you're looking for.
This was one of the worst meals I've had. Being from out of town, this was our first time eating here, so I didn't know what to expect. The sandwich I chose had lots of toppings in the picture on the menu, so when I ordered I asked if it came with those toppings. The person at the counter said you got to choose what you wanted on it, and so I said great and continued with my order. At other 'choose your toppings' fast food places, you often pick what you want on it after you've ordered as they're making it, but it seems this was not the case. There was a section on the menu that had different topping options, but I didn't see that until afterwards and was never given the options at the counter and wasn't even asked what kind of bun/bread I'd like. In the end I got a sad, cold meat sandwich with frozen custard that tasted like cheap ice cream. The only good thing about the fries was that they were warm. Disappointing over all.
the first girl that took care of us was really nice.. but i was given the wrong type of fries. the roast beef was over cooked and cold. the old fashion turkey sandwich was too much bread and no meat… i complained to another girl and she rolled her eyes and stormed away without letting me talk.
This is a hometown favorite which I haven't had in probably 20 years away from the Buffalo region. Frozen custard is not only delicious, but has a texture all of its own. (In a good way)
I came here because my Grandma told me it was her go to spot to take the family back in the ‘70s. It still lives up to its name to this day!
The service was excellent. The food came out quick despite it being busy for Mothers Day.
I ordered the beef on weck with horseradish, sweet potato fries and a small custard. It was phenomenal. For some reason the custard hits different at this location.
Came for the custard ice cream, but stayed and returned for the roast beef sandwiches. Made from high quality ingredients, Andersons is far from fast-food. They even have organic ketchup packets. I love it here!
I was told that Buffalo’s sandwich is Beef on Weck. Tried at different locations and Anderson’s was a recommended. Not this location. Sandwich was half warm half cold and for $10, I’ve learn my lesson.
