Best WLM Reviews

The front desk and housecleaning team members are all very nice and helpful. We had a few questions and they were quick to answer them. The hotel is quiet and in a great location.
The oceanfront views are really nice. Their outdoor area is really great too, even in late October. The lazy river and indoor pools are heated and there are really beautiful views. Definitely watch the sunrise at least once while you're there!
The only reason I'm taking off 1 star is because the bath tub seemed a little dirty and part of the carpet was falling off the floor under the bed. It would also be nice if the TVs had streaming services that you could log into.
Besides that, it's a really nice place with lots of things to walk to - the ocean, diners, restaurants, mini golf, ice cream, shopping, etc. We didn't go to the spa but I'd like to try that the next time that we visit!
Location is great, pool and outdoor area relatively clean. We had an issue with a few things.
1. It is not clearly advertised that this is both a time share institution and a part of it is part of Hilton. This was not clear when booking.
2. Rooms varied widely in terms of quality for the same price. I booked the same room type as my family members and ours was dingy and very dark and out of date compared to theirs for same price.
3. The carpets and upholstery need a good clean/replace throughout most of the establishment.
4. Cleaning staff only coming every 3-4 days is inconvenient and when they did come they’d knock on the door at 9am.
5. The bedrooms have this weird window leading into the hallway, covered by curtains. The pictures on their website make it look like bedrooms are off the balcony directly and I didn’t see any representation of the bedrooms internal and with a window leading essentially to nowhere.
6. The bathrooms had a lot of water stains and some areas of mould.
7. Elevators take forever because they’re used mostly by staff the entire day with giant buckets of towels, cleaning carts, etc. it was faster to take stairs up and down 8 flights quite honestly.
Would not stay here again.
This was our second time staying at Anderson, and the trip was going well until it wasn’t. Our 3rd day into the trip we began to smell a heavy scent of marijuana. To the point where our family became nauseous and had headaches mind you we have an infant as well, so extra concerned for the air quality. ||We assumed it would be coming from someone’s balcony- nope it was from an adjacent room as the scent was coming from the front door area/hallway. The smell was obnoxious and we reached out to the front desk via phone, a front desk attendant named Brandon advised us they would look into the issue and notify security. About an hour later the smell became more intense and we utilized the resorts “text to front desk” option:||Me: “The smell of marijuana has yet to subside, any chance you found the source? It's making it difficult for my family to sleep through” ||Response: “no we have not, it may take a few hours for the smell to subside.|-Brandon”||No, “let’s move your room”, or any other option. Just wait it out… well we didn’t sleep until about 5am, the scent lingered. ||The next day we decided to make sure we stayed out as long as possible, and returned to speak with the front desk to see if they had found the source of the issue from the night before. They seemingly were not notified of the issue. I spoke with the manager on duty who very kindly gave us a % back of our bill. The head of security advised he would walk us back to our room just in case the issue had continued for a second night. ||It had. The second we all got off the elevator we were hit with an overwhelming smell of marijuana. The head of security advised us there wasn’t much they could do because of the privacy act but they would do their best to find the source. Well the night went on with the continuation of a heavy scent of marijuana, and we decided to cut our vacation short and started to pack. ||I’m disappointed, our family trip came to an abrupt end. The final two nights were exhausting and our vacation was simply ruined. The % we were given back seems minimal and the whole customer service aspect felt minimal at best. ||I would have really appreciated being moved to a different floor or something along those lines but the option was never offered to us. I also understand the resort can only do so much, and I appreciate them looking into things at least the second night. ||Also if I’m being totally honest the room needed a little upgrading, for it being a Hilton branded resort the expectations are always above average and this room was simply “meh”… ||But I will say great views, easy access to the beach, multiple pools, easy parking set up, and close to everywhere.
We stayed for three nights. The service was great. If we noticed something missing or wanted something the room did not have, we simply called staff and it was brought up quickly. The staff are friendly and easy to smile. My room was clean and comfortable.
My only complaint and it is a big one for me is the constant awful music playing down at the pool 24/7. I open my doors in the morning to listen to the waves but the music is so annoying! I am 7 floors up! Either a better sound system is needed, or turn off the music! Can't you start it at like noon? Honestly, glad I'm only staying for 3 nights, because my ears hurt from the tinny whiny music.
Other than that everything is great.
Good hotel. We had a clean room 16th floor with partial ocean view (Be careful, Ocean view rooms are not the same as Ocean front rooms - sounds similar). V quiet room, no disturbance, which we appreciated. Nice friendly staff.
Our sink was broken and blocked. But they fixed it. Free Parking convenient across the street or pay for valet.
Direct access to beach. Need to drive to restaurants.
The rooms were nice. Good location of the hotel. The bellhop we encountered during check in was very courteous in helping up get our bags to our room with a luggage cart. However during checkout every single bellhop we encountered wouldn’t help us. Nor would they tell us where we could get the self service luggage carts from. Treated like royalty when coming in. Treated like a peasant when leaving. I wish I got the bell hops name that helped us when checking in. He was the nicest person working at the hotel. Everyone else’s attitude was meh. Disturbed at 9 in the morning even with a do not disturb sign on the door on both days of our 2 night stay. Really need to work on customer service to live up to a 4 star resort rating
I would recommend this location. I stayed in the 2 bedroom suite it was spacious and comfortable. I gave the room a 4 because house keeping can do a better job of cleaning it was really dusty and the floors were dirty and needed to be moped. It was not filthy but you could tell that the staff are only surface cleaning. Other than that I would stay again and clean it myself because it really does give you a home away from home feeling with family.
Odors of fried food permeating. Room Not clean to **** star standard. Stove top had oil on it. Range filter was dripping oil. Top of fridge had layer of dust. Socks turned black from floors. Shower In second bathroom didn't work correctly and drain was slow. Beach views are great. Suite is spacious. Deep cleaning and some TLC required to reach a 4 star level. We are owners and it is sad when non owners on a free sales promotion who do not intend on ownership mistreat properties. Recommended after non owners check out thoroughly clean and inspect rooms to ensure members are not left in a stinky dirty room.
