Best WLM Reviews

Perfect for an overnight stop in the Twin Falls area. An older mom and pop RV park with mature trees and lots of green grass that has a campground feel. Lots of shade. Mostly 50 ft graveled pull-through sites. Friendly service when we called from the road and a very reasonable rate. Yes you can hear traffic from the freeway but that should be obvious so don’t complain. We rested well here and would recommend it to others.
Our stay was enjoyable for the most part, lots of grass for yard games and we never noticed in road noise, which was nice.
But the cabins were unbearable to sleep in. We had to sleep with the doors open & cool off in the car because it was so hot. We noticed others experienced the same thing. I think the cabins should have some sort of window ac unit as inside of them as it was over 100 inside of them. I would love to know if updating the cabin’s temperatures is something that will happen. The only other thing we didn’t love was how many spiderwebs covered the picnic tables and lights by the doors.
Bathrooms could be a little more cleanly, but I knew it wouldn’t be all glamorous, it’s a campsite.
The convenience store was nice to have on site & was very affordable/comparable to other gas stations.
We had hoped to use the pool, but it closes at 8pm & we just didn’t have time.
The staff we encountered was overall pretty nice & respectful.
Next time we stay we will make sure it’s in a cooler month.
My wife and I went RVing recently and stayed here during our trip. The person at the front desk was very nice. The grounds, the views out back and our lot were really nice. Overall, this is a nice place; however, the location, the bathrooms and the buildings have issues. We could hear the traffic since the park is near the highway. The bathrooms were very dirty and in need of being thoroughly cleaned. There was yellow film and hairs in the showers and around the drains and on the shower floors. The exteriors of the buildings need maintenance as well (just a cleaning and a fresh coat of paint). Otherwise, we liked our stay.
We stayed here in a tent site in 2018 and had a wonderful stay. I was looking forward to returning.
No issues making my reservation.
Then we arrived in Eden to find the road to Anderson Camp closed. We spent over 20 minutes trying to figure out the detour. We arrived after 7PM, so the office was closed. I could have called the emergency line, but we were so focused on where we should go, that didn't seem like an option at the time.
Because we arrived after 7PM, the pool was closed. The pool was one of the reasons I liked to stay here, so that was a bit disappointing but not a deal breaker.
The tent sites are beautiful. The grass is really well maintained.
Next we'll talk about the restrooms. The main men's restroom and showers were under construction. There was a note on the women's restroom that the men's rooms were closed and to knock before entering. Doesn't really feel safe to me. Nobody would be able to hear a knock while showering.
There is a second restroom in the park with one shower each in men's and women's. That effectively left one men's shower for an entire campground.
In the main women's restroom there are three showers. Very weak water pressure and almost no heat. One of the three sinks did not work at all.
Even though this property is normally easily accessible from I-90, I have no recollection of hearing freeway noise back in 2018. This year (2024) the freeway was so loud, neither my husband no myself got much sleep. I don't know if due to the construction, the freeway is closer to the property?
The bottom line is, had we had warning about the restroom and road closure, we probably would have looked into other options for our stay. Road closures and restroom issues are part of life, but not knowing means I won't stay here again.
My husband and I argued about whether to leave a 4 or 5 star review. He demanded a 5. I am giving a 4, as I didn’t use any amenities. That said, our experience was a 5. The staff worked daily to keep the areas of grass watered and mowed ( weed whacked, etc ). Our Eskipoo loved the large grassy area along the fence to chase squirrels. I loved it for the views of the barley fields with sprinklers, crop dusting airplanes, and beautiful sunsets. Location was very convenient ( although the highway construction throughout the state was a bit of a detractor ). Sights and trails nearby were great. Several days we just hung out in our large, grassy, shady space when I had to work ( I work remotely ). The cherry trees were amazing! We picked and ate cherries from many of the trees throughout the park. I’ve never done that before! The long term guests were super nice. After leaving there, we’ve often mentioned how great it was… and wished we had used the pool (s). They had a regular pool with the water slides and a geothermal pool. A playground that reminded us of our childhood, but in great shape, and well cared for. The driveway in WAS TERRIBLE. HUGE POTHOLES… rough first impression. Especially as the first impression is a gas station/ convenience store. Don’t let that detract you. Overall, once settled, it was great!!
We have a 43' motor home. No markings for entrance or where to register. Entry road area was terrible, what black top there is needs serious repair. Roads need graded and holes filled. Sites not level and holes filled. Don't know how they got the high ratings.
First of all the main frontage road into the campground is currently under construction. When we called to verify reservations, no mention of no access. When we finally were able to figure a way into the campground to check in, it was 104 degrees out. When checking in both ladies behind the counter were more preoccupied with their personal conversation than helping me. When checking in I mentioned how hot it was outside and I hoped our site was in the shade, the lady helping me just stared at me, when I mentioned this, she then ignored my question and went back to her conversation with her coworker. She then asked me to sign a waiver stating that whether I liked my site or not, we would be charged for our stay….that should have been a red flag. When we arrived at our spot, it was the only site in the full Sun. The site was so uneven, we spent 45 minutes outside in full Sun at over 104 degrees trying to get the rig level enough to spend the night. We finally gave up, I went back to the office and asked to move to another site, which they did move us to another site. This site was in the shade and completely level. The office staff here are at least indifferent to guest, we were never made to feel welcome. I will give them 2 stars because of the large green field behind the park that is awesome for playing with your dog.
Lots of shade, which was appreciated since the temps were 100°+ during our stay. Hook-up’s were okay and decent water pressure. We didn’t use the pool, slide or mini golf but lots of folk did and seemed to enjoy. The sites are in desperate need of leveling. We were not able to level at all and same with several other RVers we talked with. The public restrooms and showers are in desperate need of updating. WiFi came and went, not dependable. The location is convenient to the sights and to the Snake River activities so I can’t rule out a short stay. Be prepared for some rough travel after you enter the park. They make you sign a paper saying you won’t drive over 5mph. They can save the paper since the roads are so bad you would do serious damage to you or your rig if you tried. Verizon coverage is a bit better than ATT. My ATT had 1 -2 bars strength. Verizon had 3 most of the time. No pet stations but some grassy area to walk a dog.
