This is the 3rd time here in 10 years. I love it! Yes, the spots are sandy, but you're at the ocean. The staff is awesome. Very accommodating and super nice. I messed up on my reservations and they added our group another day without moving us. Coming back again.
We have stayed here for 3 years in a row now. We really like the closeness to the beach, short walk. We love how quiet it is and the spacing available between RV's. The staff are very helpful and nice. It's a perfect place for us and we will continue to come back.
We had a wonderful experience! I love they have sand right outside your RV door! We couldn't get the WIFI to work but used our hotspot off our phones so that was okay. It's very peaceful and quiet and the bunnies running around added to the quaintness of it all.
Giving Andersen's RV Park a 2 star review as it was a nice location to only have to walk a short distance to be directly on the beach and the dog run was convenient.
If I was only reviewing the owner it would be zero stars. This is our own fault for not taking caution on all of the negative views previously posted.
After reading through the website I had additional questions regarding visitors. In some places it stated no visitors and in other places it stated we would be charged 5$ for visitors vehicle and 5$ each visitor. In this case it was my parents and it at most an hour as they waited for their hotel check-in time. I had asked one of the employees and they told me it was fine, but I wanted to confirm as I didn't want them to be turned away.
My son and I walked to the office to confirm this or that. She must have felt I was trying to haggle or get something for free because as soon as I brought up visitors she immediately wanted to know WHO told me we could and what their name was. As I tried to explain we are new to this kind of Camping (extra fees, add ons, ect) SHE WENT CRAZY! She told me to get out of her face. Mind you, there was a fence in-between us and about 3 feet of space. She said I was threatening her. I questioned how I was threatening her and what could I be threatening her with? She just rambled. Half of what she was saying didn't even make sense. I asked her to lower her voice as she was making a scene in front of my toddler. How embarrassing for her.
My husband went to talk to her and didn't get anywhere. He said she just rambled and said she would pull video footage of me in her face. My husband said please do, but or course she didn't.
We definitely won't be returning.

Despite the reply from property, the reservation was under my husbands name, my name is hyphenated and they did not respond to him.
There is no way to actually contact this property. The phone voicemail is full and says it is for information only on website. Emails are only checked one a week? I have tried to call in plenty of time to receive refund as we had to cancel we had a death in our family now and can't get in contact, time is up per policy to get a refund. This is a joke.

Just stayed there 2 nights. But was charged for 3 night. I guess my reservation didn't go through. Because I arrived after 1:00 pm. Was charged an extra night. Need to have a good laundry room, shower room and restrooms. Lots have full hook ups. No thrills. Basic gravel lot RV park. Not my cup.of tea. Will not be back.
We took our camper here and it’s the most dog and kid friendly place we’ve been too. We loved every thing about it, and loved how close it was to the beach. Can’t wait to come back!
Edit: We stayed here again this last weekend, and they did not dissapoint. We usually take a trip to Long Beach every year and stay here in our RV. The owners are very friendly and always make sure you have what you need and answer questions. Love how quiet the park is.
