Amazing gem in a very quiet part of Covington. these diners are quickly fading in America so it’s truly a treasure to find one this unique. Saved as a favorite. If i’m this part of the US again I’m definitely going out of my way to come here.
The food was excellent! I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy and the breakfast wrap. The biscuits and gravy came out hot and fluffy and their homemade gravy with sausage was delicious. The breakfast wrap was loaded full of eggs, sausage, and cheese. My wife ordered a burger and said it was awesome. We got a kids grilled cheese for our 1y/o and it had THREE slices of cheese on it! ????

We travel quite a bit and always looking for the local dining experiences whether it’s $ or $$$$$. This cozy place takes one back to the good ole days. Our waitress was spot on. Hard to decide what to order there was so much to choose from. Fish and chips were perfect, my husband is still talking about his 3 Decker sandwich! Very fair prices. Just know they only accept cash.
Great mom & pop joint. Food is hot and very tasty. This place has been open for 77 years and the decor is prob the same as it was back in the day. Make sure you bring cash because they don’t take credit. The Waitresses were extremely kind and the coffee was bottomless. I had the two eggs over medium with sausage and toast and hash browns with onions and you just can’t go wrong with it. We would return.

Its absolutely ???? the best homemade food in all the places I have eaten at from Florida to ohio anchor grill was the most amazing and the best service I have ever seen and had its actually became a regular place that I visit just to eat I travel far just to have a amazing old fashion real meal and they always have the best waitress and all around best patriotic restaurant
I was there for breakfast during our state convention. Their pancakes are very good, the coffee is generous, and the goetta is a Cincinnati specialty that it’s worth looking for.
The only thing is that they only take cash so stop by your local bank ATM before you go.
Another thing to note is that the old fashioned dining club vibe is very strong in this place. You have an old stilted jukebox there, and even a working pinball machine. It’s two quarters per play, so try it out.
