Anchor Bar is simply a fun bar to visit.
The staff are all very friendly and quick to get your orders taken and in, especially considering how busy they typically are. The food is delicious. I highly recommend the nachos, fried pickles, cheese curds, and the chicken wings. I love that they have video poker to play as well. Win or lose, you'll have fun.
Packed, but wasn't hard to find seating. I ordered happy hour garlic wings and the ipa on tap. Really happy with the beer and wings although a few of them were tiny but passed as a full wing given the amount I ordered. The garlic sauce was real good! I liked the prices too. Service was fast and bartenders were friendly. Variety of sports playing on the mounted TVs. Would come back for a beer if I'm in Jantzen Beach in the future.

I have come here for years while working on the island and never had issues until trying to get out of the rain while christmas shopping. Apparently a couple shopping bags makes you unwelcome. Was just trying to get out the rain, and grab a drink before continuing christmas shopping. I will never return.
This place can be a little bit nuts but 8 bucks for a drink and all you can eat tacos on Tuesdays is pretty great. Can you beat our record of 21 tacos eaten by one person? Didn't think so.
Great food and service! Happy hour is everyday and runs till 6pm. We spent $40 for our meals and that included 2 beers and 2 margariras! This place is hidden in the back but well worth a try if you're in the area.
Surprisingly friendly and professional staff make you feel comfortable in the dark and lively sports bar. The food is reliable and affordable.
