Update: I understand things happen but I have to say as a business owner Ruben contacted my husband and made things right within 15 mins. Thank you!
After a long day at work, dealing with rush hour my husband stopped by to buy our favorite wings and pizza. He gets home gather the fam and when we open the box we see this! We tried to give it a chance thinking it may not taste burned but nope! No bueno! We need a refund! Ugh! Now we have to go and buy dinner somewhere closer.
I love our waitress Alicia. She is one of the best waitress I’ve ever had. She always makes sure to take care of me and is always so attentive. My cup can never get half empty before it’s already full. She always provides great conversation and makes sure I’m always comfortable. She is the true definition of a waitress. Love Anchor Bar and compliments to the kitchen for always making the food delicious.
Great place to get hot wings and pizza, service can be a little slow during busy dinner hours. Only reason I didn’t rate this a five, is due to the lack of care with the bathrooms, I recommend management tidy that up as it can make you wonder about the cleaning routine elsewhere.
The prices at this location are the best! Me and my partner love sitting at the bar and enjoying a variety of delicious foods! Highly recommend this place. Chicken on the stick is the best I've ever had. The drinks are amazing!
I visit there with a few friends when the Bills are playing (Go Bills!). I know I can count on great service, a friendly face (even when we’re all screaming) and a good time when being served by Aleesha. They’re all great, but she’s the best! Now if she could make Sam Elliott appear to sling back a beer with me, not only would I think she’s a great server but a magician too!
Came due to a friend's recommendation, it being their favorite wing place and all. Not bad! Came in on a Sunday afternoon, so definitely a good time for a more intimate setting.
Tristan was great and made sure we were well accommodated during and before leaving.
The Honey Sriracha was my favorite flavor sauce, so far, along with the Sweet and Spicy Korean. (Like my women, I have a thing for sweet and spicy... IYKYK. ????) The bites were crunchy and tender and seemed to be made from nice quality white meat!
They also have dessert!! It's just not on their main menu. ????????♂️
The spicy lemon pepper wings were delicious. The menu has a very huge variety of items to order as well. They have a nice playground for the kids to play while you wait for your food.
Love the playground for the kids. Very nice when the temperature is cooler like it was this past weekend.
The food and service are subpar. After ordering, I waited for over 10 minutes at the bar for my beer. I finally asked the waitress to bring it out to me when it was ready. Ordered two appetizers (wings and mozzarella bites) but they did not come out early. They came out the same time as my Philly sandwich. The mozzarella bites were over cooked with cheese coming out. They would have been excellent had they been cooked properly. The wings were incredibly dry and needed more sauce.
Take note: You are charged extra for everything!! More than one wing sauce, you’ll be charged. I asked for blue cheese but got ranch and when I said I needed blue cheese they wanted to charge me for it.
The chicken Philly with queso wasn’t the best. Lacking chicken and was definitely more bread. I tore off half the hoagie and threw it away. The other half was the right amount for the meat that was on it. Definitely needs more meat to justify the cost. I got the regular fries with it but they were soggy and undercooked.
Nice sports bar atmosphere so I’d probably go back again if in the area and others had kids that needed to play.
Bathrooms needed attention while we were there. I only used them once and it was about 9:30 pm.
Attention to some of these things and food quality and consistency can help make it a better experience for others. But the time it takes for food and drinks really needs to get better.
