Best WLM Reviews

We stopped in for brunch during my daughter's cheer competition. The food was excellent. I ordered the honey brioche French toast and my husband ordered the grand rising. Everything was delicious. Portions are just right. The service by Marko was impeccable. We had a waterfront table right along the Riverwalk. Lovely place. We will be back for sure.
The meal was delightful, the ambiance was wonderful, and the service was outstanding. Our waiter Castle was extremely attentive and very friendly. I opted for the surf & turf with two Beers, while my spouse chose the steak and shrimp dinner with two cocktails, and the dishes were simply superb.
Beautiful space, great views. Good service. Drinks were disappointing. The rolls with honey butter were ridiculously priced - 4 small stale rolls that looked like they came from a fast food restaurant. We had the seafood tower for 4, which was below average at best. The crab claws were gritty and tasted off, not edible. Manger gave a few shrimp in place of crab claws. The crab cake, however, was exceptional. Would return only for the crab cake.
Family stopped at this restaurant to have dinner while visiting River walk. The atmosphere was awesome, with. Nice breeze coming off the water. The food was excellent and definitely worth it. Fresh and flavorful.
Nice place to do some water side dining.
Our server Noah was really good.
There were about 3 conventions going on at the hotel; it was a mad house.
Because of that the food did take a bit. Thankfully we weren't in a hurry.
The food was good. Ordered lots of seafood.
The charred octopus was delicious. Two big tentacle chucks to cut up.
The Grouper dip was amazing. Our kids are up both of these.
The Grouper sandwich was ok. The fillet itself was great. Just probably would have been better on rice instead of on a bun.
The cuban was tasty.
All in all, we didn't expect to run into all the conventions, and the staff was great at still staying attentive to us in the chaos.
I would go back.
We chose anchor and brine mostly for the view and proximate to the Straz (as we were going to a show after dinner). It’s right on the water front, delightful breeze, nice atmosphere. We were definitely over dressed as it’s not a formal vibe. The food was great, lots of unique flavors and dishes. We had the oysters, calamari, grouper, golden beet salad, asopao, asparagus. My husband and I split a couple dishes and they brought them out pre-split which was awesome
Riverside dining, service was outstanding!! Grouper was very fresh!! Perfect on top of the kale salad, which was loaded with cherries, grapes, and hazelnuts. Grouper fish tacos, fantastic as well. Perfect stop to enjoy a cocktail. Live music.
This place was unimpressive. It was clearly understaffed - one waitress for about 15 tables. The seafood tower was not a tower at all. The crab claws were mushy. The grilled octopus came out cold, and the grouper on the salad was dry and flavorless. The octopus came on a delicious salad and probably would have been good if it hadn’t been sitting in the kitchen for 20 mins.
The best food item was the rolls - which were basically Hawaiian rolls topped with butter and salt for $9.
On top of that, the bathroom was a mess - expected much more from the JW Marriott.
This place does have a very nice waterfront view and the live music was a nice added touch. Atmosphere is good - so I’d go for a drink at the bar but that’s about it.
